Holy sh*t, man. Are people finally waking up to it?! I am a French main, and have been warning that the French FI is better than the Ottoman and Italian FIs for ages. I have a build with a 05:35 FF into Fort, then IV before 09:00 btw. You can then push with 40 cheap Guard Musketeers and 2 Heavy Cannons (and/or 4 Culverins) at 11 mins sharp behind that Fort. 🎉😊❤
@Daniel_gamarra You make 15 Bourbons during the transition, then send 25 from the card. Everyone with 80+ IQ who is not stuck in the vanilla days does it, because nothing compares to the value of the Bourbon card after you max out the value of the Reforms technology. You can watch Rohbrot's videos doing this kind of FI.
you can as french you just need to send 1000w to make triple tc. Late game french skirms are better than cass, and ports goons are better. they trade pretty evenly if you play it right. Tbh swish played this badly and ports can just braindead it.

I like doing the church FI with French. Its slightly slower but you can boom behind it
Going to age4 just to smash all of your shipments into a TC seems like a huge waste

@ late game the extra hp makes a massive difference. Volts are better trading with cass, cass are better vs heavy infintry ie muskets etc
