@@Harrison_Aoe The variety is what makes AOE3 stand out from AOE2,AOE4 and AOMde. The just need to balance it and it doesn't seem they very hard. Baja is not unbalanced unless used in Treaty. You need to know the other civs and scout them constantly like in a real war situation.
@ yeah agreed. Playing Aom was a fun nostalgia hit, but didnt feel like a "full" experience online. Of course heavily biased to Aoe3 due to the amount of experience and knowing the community etc. but the trading posts/nat posts and cards just add such a wide user experience that not many aoe3 matches feel similar to each other
@ Yes, thank you! This masterpiece deserves a lot more love from the devs and fans of the franchise alike. 2 used to be my favorite but having played 3 a lot more and having gotten a lot of new quality of life changes and expansions this one is now my favorite. The United States and Italians are my two favorites right now, though the Aztecs, Ottomans, and Spanish are close contenders. Haha.
There is a consensus that its annoying to play into Mexico because it is almost impossible to scout their strategy due to all the build orders and age ups being the same, I.e. mid map hacienda and military wagons etc
I always lose when I try Baja. 4 outposts might make it work, but 7 villagers plus a non-upgraded factory can't sustain an army very long without some of the cards. But the more Baja cards the more than enemy can do to prepare. I'd to hear more about how to win or defend against it.
So far it feels like baja get a factory to invest into a stage line for the main source of eco, plus soldier of fortune. Later settlers add to the eco but are so insignificant in the grand scheme of things
@@Harrison_Aoe It is impossible. Find us a baja that wins. I have never won with baja and I main Mexico. The only way to win is if the enemy builds no military.
@ Gotcha what elo are you? There is no one size fits all. Osteo has been wining with baja for ages. Go look at lionhearts mexico videos or harrisons mexico videos and copy build order but understand the different civs you are up against. Against a boom heavy civ it can be worth rushing the tradepost card. IF playing a rush heavy civ then probably dont go baja tbh. get 600 coin first then factory then soldier of fortune. With the 600 coin start building desperados or bandidos (depending on what you need) put the factory on food or wood and get stagecoach asap. Before soldier of fortune even comes in start being aggressive, applying pressure but really try not to lose any military or fight until soldier of fortune comes in. Also something to know is if you are struggling to play baja tbh you probably arent aging up quick enough. You need to be quick into age2 and macro for the revolt so you can just get the xp and immediately go to baja. if you are struggling to age up quick enough then this is probably the problem

Passi is just smarter, faster and also better looking #goat
buen video❤

I prefer the legacy civs personally. Too many civs to have to understand is just annoying for me
@podawe8051 what you telling me you haven't memorised all 150 odd cards and the 7 revolts that Mexico have? ;)

why there is no tp victory invoked by Mexico, it would have been game over for brits.
I love watching Mexico lose. I cannot stand the Civ. The same goes for most of the DE Civs. I feel like they are just so gimmicky.
Same goes for me aswell. Never hated cav box and gendarm spam from TAD as much as i hated DE jackshit.
@@AhmetKoç-l6h Most of the non-African DE civs aren't balanced and lose in most situations.

Wait so you can’t defend against it or you can’t win as Baja?
