thank you! Yeah the follow focus is something I can't live without now. It makes using cinema lenses a pleasure. Since you need to twist the lens normally, it would destabilize your shot. But with a follow focus, you can keep the shot stable and the focus pull will look aesthetic and intentional. It also allows for more soft and precise focus pulling.
For the CDG video it was actually last spring! But I go there occasionally as a cabin crew. We fly there multiple times a day so it's an easy flight to get rostered for.
