I love the video guys :] I like the history. The narration is great, because I know what I'm looking at - although you would not find me standing at the top of that mine shaft lol. It WOULD break - because let's face it - it's me...and that stuff happens to me! lol. Great to hear you both again, and looking forward to more videos like this :] - Steve.

Wow had no idea that was even there.... But then again, the last time I was there was...(before this past weekend) when I was 14 years old... I will have to take another trip up there! That town really fascinates me!

I was just up there two days ago on my day off. Its only a ten minute drive from my place of work. Oh, I see you show the old motion picture camera and wondered if you saw the old time upstairs movie house? Have you gone to the old haunted cemetery? its off a dirt road just before you past the old High School as you come into town! Its hard for some to find if you are outsiders! My friend and myself went there in the middle of the night one time to take pictures, hoping to catch ghosts!

I would have loved to see the cemetery.... And where was the old movie house? Was it above the museum? It was a beautiful day to be there!

Though all responses to this video seem to be pretty old, so am I. I will be teaching photography workshops in this interesting town on March 16th 2015. Let me know if anyone is interested!

As you come into town and making a turn you will see a very tall building, about three, or four stories high. The gift shop is on the main floor and toward the back there is a stairway that take you to the third floor where it take you to the bal- that slop deeply downwards, something like Harkins theater seating, but very steep and scary. There also a small room with a museum just before going into the movie theater. They show short films daily and cost two dollars to get in.

35 years ago the locals were all growing marijuana and the top cop in town was ok with it. They were letting you live there for free if you would make improvements to the property’s you were living in. Winston Churchill wife family owned the copper mine . She was A American. I personally would go up to Jerome to buy some good weed. Have had quite a few beers at the Sprit Room. Just like Sedona it all gone to hell. I lived in oak creek canyon in a trailer and the lot rent was $300 a year. Sedona Snebly the lady the town is named after lived in Mounds Canyon
