For people that can’t find glutinous rice flour, you can use cornstarch/potato starch in this recipe instead! It works perfectly, just like a Hokkaido potato mochi.
I’d recommend potato starch if you aren’t using glutinous rice flour. It makes a different texture, more delicate and crispy than cornstarch. It’s not hard to find either.

Even if I don't love to eat a certain recipe, I still watch because I feel like I learn something new in every video (I am NOT well versed in cooking) like today the sizzle test with the chop sticks to know if your oil is preheated...I will remember this! :)
