Not sure, when watching his match I feel like his forehand is too spinny and lacks speed. As a western gripper, I can confirm that western grip makes it hard to hit flat and aggressive ball when the ball is high. It's also a bit hard to switch grip when changing from forehand to backhand. This can cause a lot of trouble when you return serve
It's weird - a lot of left handers over the years have had slightly dodgy forehands. Often a bit too wristy. McEnroe, Navratilova, Connors. Their forehands were all suspect. Nadal something of an exception - but he's naturally right handed.
Based on the result of US Open, he will be top 10 next week. Too many top 10 seeded players lost in early rounds and they will lose siginficant amount of points next week and Draper lost 4R last year, so he has no points to defend.
He’s actually beaten Sinner in their only meeting . His entire year has been affected by injury . I think if he stays fit he’ll have a great year next year .
@@boyzone5000It doesn't make the win over Sinner relevant though, it was one of the first times Sinner played on grass and he was not near the level he is at right now.
He’s so good. It’s only injury and fatigue holding him back. Luckily that’s workable
hey look it’s you
@@stealthz9580 look at this little guy, tryna study jack drapers forehand to develop it for his little lefty slider game. Cheeky boy

@@zeddeka Nadal's Forehand isn't a western grip. More like a semi western.

He won't be top ten top 20
@@lukepatterson5367 My mistake. Probably, he will be around the early of next year. He doesn't have many points to defend earlier next season.
He is good...very impressive powerful player! If injury free he will be "easily" top 5 or better in 2025!
He is good if the other guys cant even win one point during this entire video!
norrie game is disgusting makes me sick. looks like hes spaazzing out on the backhand.
You realise Norrie is only in the first 50 seconds of the video ?
What is wrong with Norrie...his skills are....pur
But he really has to 2nd serve with kick. Always slicing on 2nd…
Injured too much
Technically not so fluent, but he is strong and consistent, will be top ten in future....
he's good technically
@@benjaminsharp959Not as good as Sinner or Carlos.
He's probably a bit too physically big for tennis. He's built more like a rugby player.
