    Damn, I didn't know it was possible to mow such clean lines with a freaking planer! I'm wondering if he's using one of those abrasive "blades" instead of the typical cutter found on all planers??

      The buck plane compresses the foam slightly without tearing it thanks to the packing tape. Heat expands the foam back to original. The heat gun's common use is to remove dents.
