So nice to see this happy couple. Not so many these days. Those good days are behind us now, never to return. These clips brought tears to my eyes and smiles to my face as I remember these beautiful people.
We can only assume. We never know what happens behind closed doors. There's always a public persona and also a private persona which needs to be factored in to any situation of which I and others are not privy to know. And that's the way things are.
In 1986 I was in Manhattan New York in the lobby of Trump Tower. I had observed an elderly couple walking through the lobby. Seeing the videos of Martin Gabel and Arlene Francis. I think that they were the elderly couple that I had observed walking through the lobby? 😊
Nothing to figure out. Arlene was a nice looking woman that got better looking as she got older and more sophisticated. Martin was a nice looking man Intelligent and sophisticated. The picture of the two of them when they did Danton's Death says it all. They were never Doris Day and Rock Hudson, but didn't they take your breath away.
Martin and Arlene were the quintessential happy ending! You could see it in their eyes it rarely happens, I’d have to look it up again but I think they were married for close to 50 years that says something in itself. If they were that happy on earth I hope they’re together in heaven rest in peace Arlene and Martin ❤️❤️🔥💞
Kamuzu...My sentiments exactly. I was wondering why no one said it before now, but love is a feeling! After seeing these two on screen and their affections, words and looks in their eyes. It doesn't matter what a person looks like. Theirs was a true love. ❤🤸♀️🤪❤ So few people ever find it. I love watching them. 🙏Praise God for love like this!

Another great compilation! I liked the way you focused on introductions and good nights this time. :-)
I love these compilations. The song at the end gave me the chills, 'twas perfect!! Thank you for sharing 'em, my dear.
This is so beautiful! Thank you for posting this for us.
FOREVER REMEMBERED❣️ FOREVER MISSED🙏 😢FOREVER LOVED💕
+ARLENE AND MARTIN.....+
Now I know who put that beautiful radiant smile on Arlene's face. If only every couple could be as happy!

God, they were so good together. I miss that era in America ❣️
The Man that bought me this hat - HA!
If their marriage could survive that, it could survive anything.
Arlene, Bennett and Martin must have many times ridden in the same limousine to New York for the show.
This is all beautiful!!!
Thank you. 😊
I wish I had a marriage like that.

Of all the men Arlene met and worked with she ended up with Martin G. ..........I will never figure that one out.
