    Well that settles it, you don't have to take any blame for the Arbiter getting in

    An Arbiter could in theory wipe out the enemy should it use recall on let's say...12 carriers

      Its almost as if its an endgame tech that costs an extreme amount of gas to tech to (citadel - archives - stargate - tribunal), only cloaks without upgrades (+ the upgrades are expensive gas wise), costs 350 gas itself to make, and has the longest build time in the game. Seems to make sense that its a good unit.

      @qcdoomqc Год назад +1

      @@avanhokie Bro, can you sit there and honestly defend this awful game design? Can you imagine actually going "what if you could instantly teleport your entire army in your opponent's production and the spell would go off even if the unit is already dead?" as a game designer lmao? That sounds like fan fic from a 12 years old right there.

    • @highhow
      @highhow Год назад +1

      Just because a unit is expensive, doesnt mean it should be able to easily end a game. There should be a balance between its usefulness because of it being expensive, and total game impact.

      @@qcdoomqc what awful game design? Mech armies are way stronger than gateway units in direct fights. Arbiter is a unit designed to punish late game Terran units’ lack of speed.

      @@qcdoomqc yeah remove arbiter from protoss and enjoy 30% winrate in P v T at high level (maybe an overshoot with 30, tbh).
      "Bro, can you sit there and honestly defend this awful game design? Can you imagine actually going "what if you could just sit there 4 bases less and still win because 50 supply of your units kill 150 of opponent in direct engage while you can just siege them and more or less afk?" as a game designer lmao? That sounds like fan fic from a 12 years old right there."
      You can always complain. Or are you telling me that siege tanks and even better, vultures who cost nothing, move at insane speed and can lay mines that destroy any army for some upgrade that costs almost nothing are not broken? Like imagine unit that costs 75 minerals, has one of the fastest movement speeds and has ability to plant reaver scarabs for 100/100 upgrade without requiring any heavy tech, lol. Does it sound fair?
      Starcraft bw is all about fighting broken with broken, lol.

      You need over 10 turrets to take down an Arbiter before it recalls. There is not enough space for them.
