That star paper takes me back!!! Great layout using all sorts of stamps. I never think in that direction and I am definitely going to try to branch out!
I am so glad to hear you were inspired to use your stamps in a new way. That star paper definitely takes us back doesn't it? I love it and was surprised I still had some in my stash.
As a Mom of 3 boys & 2 Grandsons (so far😉), I’m always so happy when you do any boy layouts!! Great LO as always! Your son is so handsome & is growing up so fast!!! Thanks for not only all your great LOs & techniques, but for how often you are posting!! I’m always looking for other ideas how to use our great CTMH products!!! P.S. I wish CTMH would give us that plain (no patterns), gorgeous UV Coated Cardstock in every one of our colors!! Sooooo many things we could do with those beauties!!🤞
Thank you, he is growing up fast, too fast. You certainly have a lot of boys in your life! Always an adventure, right? I agree on the UV coated cardstock in every color, that would be amazing!
I love your layout, it turned out awesome! I have always loved that star paper; it makes a wonderful addition to any page. And your Cricut paper sure does make the green show up in it, lol. Thanks for the enjoyable share, hugs ~ Roni Sue
Just wanted to tell you that you are very talented. I really enjoy your videos. I did find a lady here in Indiana. By the way I really liked your cards that you made with the butterflies! Beautiful!
So neat. Love that star paper and the Sundance UV. I do enjoy the inking and using your stamps on your background as well as for embellishments!!! Enjoyed watching this process as I do all your videos!
I love this layout Erin (I have 2 boys also so I am so intrigued when you do a layout with pictures of your boys). I also have a question. When you mentioned using the Vellum On your video “10.5 Ways to add journaling to your scrapbook layout” you mentioned using small pieces of vellum in your printer…how do you achieving this…do you use the envelope printing method! I have so many small scraps of paper and would love to utilize them without staring with a new sheet for a few journals. Thank you!
Hello Joyce, I am glad you are enjoying the boys layouts. I know they can be harder to find inspiration and supplies for. Vellum is tricky and I've noticed if the piece is too small it will not go through the printer. I typically trim it to a 4x6 and then run it through. My printers have spots for a 4x6 photo so I adjust the printer arms to that size. If I didn't need a full 4x6 I will then use the remaining vellum scraps for stamping butterfly or flower embellishments so it isn't being wasted. Hopefully that makes sense. Sometimes my printer will say there is no paper because it isn't sensing the vellum and I have to try a few times.
Morning, much love from a fellow Maker all the way from New Zealand 🇳🇿 I’m wondering which Avery Label sticker sheets you were using as I love the idea.
Hello Andre! I didn’t realize you were in New Zealand, very cool. The label sheets are awesome. I order them through Amazon www.amazon.com/dp/B00006HUP7/ref=cm_sw_r_as_gl_api_gl_i_RA0PN91S28KQJMDVZRX6?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&linkCode=ml2&tag=craftyconcept-20
Hello, I noticed a lot of crafters using them so I did a little research. They are acid free and non yellowing so they should do well long term. I’ve used clear plastic label material with a label maker for many years and those have held up too.
That star paper takes me back!!! Great layout using all sorts of stamps. I never think in that direction and I am definitely going to try to branch out!

It's like he's growing up really fast, lol! I love how you explain the "why" of your placements. Thank you
Haha, I jump around with my scrapbooking so one week he might be 8 and then 17 the next 😂
I would have never thought to stamp without a block!!! WOW, super fun layout!!
Thank you, I am glad you picked up a new tip! Stamping without a block can give you a whole new look.
Love all the stamping. I think I may have them all. Yahoo!
It is so nice to put those older stamp sets to use isn't it?
So fun! Loving the colour combinations with all the stamping and smooshing you’ve done.
Thanks Janice! Blues and greens are my favorite!
This layout is so cute. I loved that star paper! Love all the stamping.
Thank you so much, me too! That star paper was so good for boys.

Thank you so much Roni, I love that star paper as well. Maybe they will bring that one back.

Thank you for you kind words. I think butterflies make everything beautiful!

What a cool layout Erin.
Thank you! Have to add the coolness factor so my son will like it too.
I love your impromptu school of design. It has helped me so much !! Thank you!!!
I'm so glad to hear it is helpful, thank you for sharing that with me.

I am glad to hear it! Having only boys I feel like there is a lot of boy layouts.
Fun layout! TFS
Thanks so much Ella.
Great layout!! I need to get my stamps out!!
Thank you, you definitely should dust the stamps off and just start stamping. It is so fun!

Really liked this!
Thank you, I am so glad to hear that.
Great job. With 2 sons I am always looking for boy layouts.
Thank you! Boy layouts do seem to be harder to come by. I have two boys also two years apart. They keep me on the move that's for sure!
Great boy layout! Sorry you can’t “unsee” the Cricut mat now! 😂
lol 😂 it will forever be the Cricut paper now

I love the idea of using shipping labels. However are they acid or lignin free? Would they do damage over time?

I have a similarly long haired son born May 22, 2004!
Oh how funny, they are so close! Mine was born on the 8th
