All skaters I know... would just kick out their deck when someone gets in their way during a line. But not Dan, he would just last split second adapt. Perfect example: manual... people get in front of him... goes to tail stall drop in ... and continues. WITH A SMILE! Mad respect!

There are some skaters where you can tell they have natural ability and stand out above the rest. The dude in black is one of them. Kind of reminds me of Jake Wooten. Practice can get you far, but, it won't get you to skate like that guy. You either have it or you don't, and most people don't.

Its funny how many skaters these days look ridiculous pushing on their boards, you can tell they rarely ride just for riding. Amazing how many skip that first step, being comfortable riding without tricks to start.

Do a series of videos for old fucks trying to learn how to skate. I skated as a teenager, accidentally quit for 12 years, and started again from square 1 at the age of 30. It’s an angle you can beat Braille to.
Relatable, but I wouldn't say we're THAT old lol. I got back into it 3 months ago at 32yrs. Taking time but slowly improving, and getting comfortable with lots of the basics I never got around to before.

@@idmhead0160 oh im am now :) I only skate like Dan which is close to the ground at all times. I lost my ability to do handrails and large gaps years ago. I only skate after-hours old man sessions at my local now :)
Can't keep going to work with broken arms and sprains etc.
