The album flopped so hard and actually put her in debt for a while - which she wouldn’t get out of until her big breakthrough courtesy of appearing on Newlyweds and her third album. They were trying so hard to have compete with Britney and Christina, but she couldn’t and it never felt authentic to her. She later called this the worst time in her career.
