If it's not in the guitar hero or rockband setlist, then individual people have to make them. Most likely your favorite songs haven't been made unless they're popular.
@@TheScrubmuffin69NOT true. The more popular songs actually don’t have as much charted for them cuz they tend to be boring. The sad reality is that CH was made at the brink of GH dying off for good, and to give the remaining player base hope to stick around, the players took it into their own hands to code a new game. They thought that making a better engine with custom songs would keep the insane cracked out players around, and they were right. There’s far far more challenging customs than the hardest stuff offered in all of GH base games, and all of the pros were sick of the base game setlists, GH customs, and RBN didn’t offer enough growth in gaining new skills cuz the engine is soooo limited. Basically now with social medias like tik tok and RUclips shorts bringing guitar hero back to light, old players who played more casually back in the day r coming back and just wanna play to rock out and listen to the music, but that’s just not what clone hero is. It’s a sweatfest, button smashing, sliding, dopamine overload game and I personally love every single bit of it LOL
This is awesome to restore my old guitars. I'm sick of buying 'fixed' guitars that just die after 3 songs because of temporary fixes. The guy that I bought them from actually asked if I was still interested in more "because it seems like I collect them" The amount of rage I had to bottle up there was insurmountable. lol
Nope! This is essentially "gutting" the guitar to make it a USB controller. You can however set the output type to "PS3" in the software to get it to work with PS3/4/5!
@@retrocultmods Appreciate the info! I was curious while watching this whether or not I'd be able to do this to my X-Plorer for the 360 and still play the original game on my console. Keep up the content!
No.... I just wish I had someone competent enough to fix my current guitar hero equipment. Or and the very least, start third party producing this equipment so I can continue to play on my PS3. I would pay someone really good money for that to happen.
Question is, how similar are 3rd party controllers? Got a ps3 clone coming and your xbox/ps les paul solderless kit ordered and hopefully will be shipped soon. 1 thing im worried about is the differences on the internals. Granted im not worried about the boards being soldered properly cause they will be gutted for your kit to replace it. But what about stand offs and screw hole placements. My biggest question on this matter, is do these 3rd party controller makers just flat out copy official guitars and roll with it? Cause if so, im good. If not, then i honestly dont know.
Is it compatible with Rock Band controllers? I hate the feel of my rock band controller. (Actually have always hated the feel of Rock Band controllers) And I wanna mod it to be mechanical and better.
or you can just use wiitar thing with ur wii guitar and a wii remote and have a clone hero controller for free as long as you had the previous things functioning
Glad you're enjoying the adapter! It will fix overstrum since it replaces the original switches (assuming the replacement switches aren't defective). As for sticky buttons, it make sure the frets and fret slots are clean before installing, then there should be no issues! Note that the start/SEL buttons are kept stock, so if those are sticking, I'd clean those as well!
Unfortunately that's not a simple yes or no question and depends entirely on the controller in question. Here is a spreadsheet with compatibility info: docs.google.com/spreadsheets/u/0/d/1hN8L1HQZzSX9K1Rp9XdpNMvC0hoEwHA05EkU1ySLFLw/htmlview?pli=1#gid=0
If it is a GH5 guitar, I've got a new product called the ZeroBoard that has inputs for that! Sold out of my first batch, so I've got more on the way! I'm also doing an updated design of the strumboard to include more inputs.
@@retrocultmods i just want to add tilt and restore the touchpad because why not? I have wireless sunburst for x360. I change the brain of it and I am trying to have a change.
@@Yomamura29 So that one probably won't be compatible, as the board would only work with the digital touchbar of the GH5 controller. Check to see if your tap bar has 3 wires going to the main strumboard or 4!
It replaces the stock internals with fresh new ones to breathe new life into your guitar controller! It also gives you mechanical frets, which feel much better to play on than stock silicone frets!
If there's remaining corrosion you can clean it with white vinegar and something abrasive like a fiberglass pen. I'd recommend rinsing with isopropyl alcohol after that. Once it's clean you just need it to make contact with the battery properly. If there's a piece missing leaving a gap and preventing contact with the battery, you could pretty much jam anything metal of the right size in there, including a folded up square of aluminum foil, and that should allow it to power on then.
Does this work to make a wireless guitar into a wired?, i have a few ps2 controllers that are really comfortable to use, but i want to make em wired vut I don't know it that's even possible

would the controller work properly with guitar freaks arcade data, because this could be a way cheaper option than having to go out and spend a load on a gitaller
I haven't tested it with that specifically, but if that can work with XInput or HID controllers, it should work so long as you are able to map controls manually!
