In this video we head over to my dads. I give an update on a few things I’ve done and discuss our plans for how we will stack hay in the hoop building. We feed the calves and take a ride in the pasture. And then we take a look at one of the hay fields at dads.
Thanks for watching. Hope you enjoy.

You will love the 575. Can easily bale 400 bales an hour. Baled 48" wheat straw bales, 150 in 20 minutes. Hydraulic tension is great, watch the gauge, quarter turn makes a difference. 100 HP tractor is a good match. The wide pick up makes it easy to handle big windrows. Have had mine for 30 years.
Yeah I think it’ll be a good baler for us. We will be testing it out on this first cutting we just looked at here. It’s going to be thick.
Hello & thank you for the video. Good luck w/ that 575 making consistent length bales. I purchased a new 575 in '04, worst baler I ever had.
I think it’ll be good for us. Time will tell
Good video. I can tell you, he doesn’t want to touch that fence. It hurts, I know from experience.
😂
For round bales I have a Vermeer 605 super M.
2000 pound net wrap bales
What moisture are you baling to get 2000lbs bales. What size?
What's your spring grass mix? Ryegrass and fescue? Looked really dense.
This field is orchard grass and ryegrass. A little clover here and there.
It’s the Classic Mix from Southern Missouri Seed Co.
