The Most Trashed FM Signal I've Ever Seen

While scanning the FM band yesterday, I noticed the most trashed signal I've ever seen. This should be at 99.3 MHz, but instead is spanning across almost 1 MHz of bandwidth!

93.9 WTBX and 99.9 WUSZ in Hibbing are like this. I can get spurs of 99.9 sometimes all the way down to 99.1. 93.9 I can get stereo pilot and clear signal on 94.3 and sometimes 94.5. This is 15 miles south of Hibbing. 😬

Of course it's an EMF owned station doing this.

Hello, this is interesting. Do you have any news about the problem? Have you notified the transmitter's managers? It seems to me to be a problem with the transmitter.

Yup, I actually posted about it on the "Radio Discussions" forum and someone associated with the station saw it and replied. As a result, it's been fixed now. Turns out it was something to do with the audio processing!
