Yeah, they prefer to do magic shows than good vocal performances
Back when choreography was ACTUALLY exciting 😭🤧
Back then, the competition of getting recognized was about who did the newest thing (mostly choreography wise), wich
led to the craziest but ofcourse also coolest choreo stunts.
But you also have to take into account the danger of putting stunts, props and really anything out the ordinary on stage to perform countless of times.
Back then there were so many choreo related accidents, that i'm actually quite glad they toned it down.
I prefer live singing to complicated choreo

Heelys, yes. But the whole choreo was dangerous with the backflips. I had heelys before and they were much harder and dangerous than rollerblades since you cant really put pressure at you heels
