I can remember playing Nacht way back when. Just backing up into the corner in the upstairs room and trying to survive. Getting to round 10 was an accomplishment at the time.
Same, just sat upstairs with the browning, and my buddy had the flamethrower. and never open the barrier on the stairs

Yeah it's crazy to think that that's how zombies was played back in the day. Just spin the box a bunch of times until you get the best guns and camp in a corner alone or with your friends until you all die. It wasn't until Shi No Numa when training started to become a high round strategy and of course it got insanely popular with Kino. :)

"i can't believe those times are over or happy we experienced them" this hit very hard. I get these vibes playing the bo1 mutliplayer or if I listen to a song that was in gta 4. I remember hearing Neyo's "because of you" and just remembering being in an infernus at alderny with 3 star wanted level and waiting from my friend to pick me up from the airport with a chopper. MAN those were the days.

The worse part was having to run on the stage over and over trying to beat your personal best; thinking this was the best strategy. Come to find out years later, thanks to RUclips that their was soooo many better high round strats that I missed out on lmfao.
@@isaiahwalking my highest ever on kino was 94, I've tried going for 100 a few times but I always mess it up, my best on ascension was like 86, and my best on call of the dead was like 63... I sucked at moon like wave 42 was my highest ever on that map, shangrila was like wave 35, on bo2 on mob of the dead was my best ever round though 103, der rise was around the 60 mark aswell, oh and transit I could never get past wave 31 for some reason 😂 was always good at zombies but never amazing, never played most of bo3 or any zombies after that

Thankfully got to experience the other maps when I bought a ps3 later on.

@@RB01.10 Yeah I think its because vanilla bo1 already bricked some wii´s and they didnt wanna push the console too much. If you remember the manual actually mentioned the store and with some mods you can get it to show in the menu.
YES MORE ZOMBIES!!! I was so into multi-player back in the day trying to rank up that I never really got to experience playing zombies. Seeing you complete these Easter eggs and getting these different guns is complete entertainment for me😁

Kino der toten on Bo1 is my favorite map. Ik it seems like that everyone’s favorite but I couldn’t get the dlc so I had to play Kino and only kino. I remember getting to round 100 on Kino. A lot of memories.
I wish they made zombies like this in newer CODs. I haven’t bought any CODs after IW.

Cod zombies used to be a hardcore secondary gamemode based on a horror survival experience. Past Bo2, Treyarch decided to trade the scary vibe and challenge with storyboard and retro-slasher gameplay. I never liked the evolution of it, but still enjoy playing with the original experience.

Man Kino has so many memories. Literally me and about 10 of my friends childhood. After school we used to spend hours on zombies. Especially World At War and Black Ops 1. Great great game. A product of its era.
I remember playing my very first zombie game on Five with my dad. We had that strat standing between the tables back to back and couldn't survive through round 3. Amazing memories ! Fav wweapon has to be the Wave-guns and Scavenger.
Man, as an OG i gotta appreciate the Wunderwaffe but all those hours I spent in Kino with my m8’s made me love the Thundergun definitely!

“Nova Crawlers”.
Because they make the Nova Gas from multiplayer and campaign when they die.
Jesus the nostalgia. Signing on after being bullied in 8th grade for the last 3 hours of class and tough homework just to play this map and trying to pack a punch every single weapon in the game in one go. Couple of my boys who were older than me popping beer bottles with their parents or siblings lmaoo man middle school was definitely a time, and you just brought me back to those simpler days. Started at nacht ma man, 24 now. Loved getting up on the stage, you just had to glitch through the barrier left of the box where you got the thundergun. You had to bring up your friends list while standing on the lower barrier just as a zombie swipes at it. Might not even be patched
I love the zombie voice after every power up pick up, it’s better than the ones they use today

These maps were so much fun man, my friends and I had ALOT of fun on infinite zombies. Underrated imo. We played spaceland and redwoods so much it was great!
First zombies map was Kino back in December of 2010 on PS3. Was in 1st Grade, I remember being so scared to play by myself. I would not even play Dead Ops Arcade solo, cause I sucked. I remember one time I woke up to seeing my dad on Kino, he was on round 43. At the time I thought that was an absolutely insane round to be on. Nowadays I play zombies, no issue, and getting to 50+ is a breeze, especially on Cold War. But getting 50+ on WaW is much harder. On account of how buggy the zombies are. It is now my favorite mode in Call Of Duty, and pretty much the only reason I buy each new installment. Its crazy, that this game is gonna be 11 years old soon. Man where does the time go!?
I remember beating WaW campaign late at night and being scared to death of the horde of dead Nazis coming at me! Tons of memories, great vid as always super nostalgic
Also best wonder weapon is the OG Ray Gun especially if u did the easter egg to get it on the beach in the campaign of WaW.
Die riese and shino numa are the most nostalgic for me. Many many many hours spent playing on just those two maps

Thank you for these! It brings back so many memories. For me, it's sad that these times are over. No worries, just playing zombies as long as we could. As far as my favorite wonder weapon :the Scavenger, no doubt. Mix that with PHD Flopper and it's awesome! The first map I played was the original Nacht Der Untoten on World at War.

This map the reason I fell in love with zombies. Online gamers was greedy with they money 😂😂😂 scared to touch that door but was the first to cry save me when they went down. Also, Nicholai was the GOAT 💯💯💯 “it’s smelly, just like my 4th wife” 😂😂
I had a PS2 til I was 8 or 9. I remember going over to a friends house and playing WaW zombies for hours, I practically loved at his house on the weekends. Then when Black Ops came out, I had gotten an Xbox, but didn’t have Live. I’d just play zombies solo. When I first got Live, the first thing I did was play Kino with 3 ransoms. I’ll always have a soft spot for the older zombies, but when BO2 releases, I believe that’s when zombies were in their prime. It unveiled what zombies really had the potential to be. I use to stay up all night playing Mob of the Dead with friends.
Really loving the zombies content! It’s different. Plus it’s always nice to mix things up a bit here and there

You should definitely stream this one in your next stream. Your call of the dead stream was great. You should keep the zombies content for awhile.
Ultimate strategy: take the upstairs route to get to the power as fast as you can, get the mp40 along the way, save 3,000points to get the Bowie knife and it’s a 1 hit knife until round 9 and a couple more rounds for the stink crawlers. Grab jug and whatever else you need cuz you’ll have a shit ton of points, run trains around the stage and the map, only use pack-a-punch on raygun thundergun when you need ammo. Ill pack-a-punch the mp40 if needed so I can grab ammo off the wall. Otherwise I like to rock the Galil, it has a ton of ammo and it’s a quick reload compare to the hk/rpk, use the stage glitch for dogs obviously. And dont accidentally kill that last slow crawler

This was actually my first zombies map I ever played. The acid blundergat was probably my favorite wonder weapon. So many nights spent on Kino going for high rounds with my buddies. Lot of memories with this vid man. I appreciate your work man.

Kino is a personal favorite map of mine. The first zombie map I played was actually green run town in bo2. I played it at my friends house at a party once and it was actually my first cod experience

First zombies I ever played was Noch der untten but i barely played it. When Blackops was released I realized I wasn’t good at MP so I stayed playing zombies. I remember playing ascension and call of the dead with random stoners at 2am 😂 good times. Kino is one of my favorite maps but ascension is up there too.
Gotta packa punch the starting pistol, mustang and Sally were so fun to use
The first map I played was honestly “Five.” I didn’t have COD at the time and my friend thought the satire with Kennedy and friends was too funny to not share. That experience definitely got me going on COD zombies. For wonder weapons I have to go with the “Thunder gun.” Its just the Vanilla ice cream of wonder weapons, you can’t hate it. Super OP too.
I remember zombies being my first live gaming I ever did. I remember bringing down a small TV from upstairs to my dining room just to play with my friends. The memories we made while playing and just learning every bit of lore we could. I miss those days where you can just log on and kill zombies with friends. No worries no responsibilities nothing. I also remember when we would get tired and call the last round we would activate the Easter eggs and just rock out recklessly to the music being super careless. We would actually survive and play a few more rounds until we called it a night. I miss those memories

Finally someone who also really enjoyed Die Rise, all i hear is other people just flat out hating on it.
To be honest the biggest thing i hated on Die Rise was PHD being teased and unreachable on a parkour zombies map. but other than that, the map was REALLY fun and every time someone fell down i had to laugh so hard especially when playing it with friends. I’d love to see a zombie chronicles 2 at some point with a Die Rise remastered.
Nacht was the very first zombies map that I ever played, it always scared me when I was a kid 😂 I remember having vivid nightmares

BO3 Zombies Chronicles. They added the Wunderfizz machine to the map, as well as gobblegums.
This might look odd, but i have always loved the Wonder Waffe as a wonder weapon. It is my favourite, but only Cod Waw Wonder Waffe, not bo3's version.
Me and my cousin played this and when we saw the creepie crawlies, he yelled out Diaper baby's. I couldn't stop chuckling.
this is my favorite map, my friends and I would have lan parties playing this game. Open all doors except the stage door, and then just kite on the stage.

Aug and thundergun is the best class. When pack a punched the aug has the masterkey which is handy for dog rounds and crawlers.
The crawlers were called Nova Crawlers I think. I also think they were somehow made from monkeys if I remember that correctly. Other than that, I loved the baby hun from Shangri-La because it got slept on. I also loved activating music in Kino. The three rocks needed to be activated.

This was the first zombies map I’ve ever played. This video was super nostalgic. And the thunder gun was my favorite wonder weapon
I started in world at war with my best friend we were going through the campaign and his dad used to watch us play cod and halo and then when I wasn’t there he would play with my best friend. Then we finished the world at war campaign and had the nacht der un toten screen show up and we were both saying what the heck was that?! First map Nacht and the ray gun snd the flamethrower were so much fun. Then one of our friends from school told us about the glitch’s to get super high rounds for zombies so we got to like round 130 or something glitched in the wall with the flamethrower lol. It was amazing. But bo2 was definitely my favorite zombies along with bo3 zombies love seeing you do zombies videos!
First one for me was Nacht. Me and my moms friends son used to hard camp in the upstairs room with the grenades. Keep the couch closed off and just spray with lmgs and nades. Each taking turns. Good times. Made it to average of round 15 back then, but out highest was 22 :P we were stoked.
EDIT: Was on split screen. Didnt have multipler at the time. And my tv was small as hell. But good lord it was so much fun.
EDIT 2: Scavenger is my favourite even though I never did play the map and feel spending money on it now is a waste not to mention the price never went down. Insane lol..
for bo3 would be cool to bring a hardcore player on board since its more complicated but i think most of us would learn a thing or two from you guys

I remember getting to round 75 and being somewhere around rank 5000 in the world. Kino, Five, and Ascension are my total jams. I played Zombies more than Multiplayer not gonna lie…
P.s. first map was Nacht through WaWs campaign. Got the first DLC with Verruckt and played it with my best friend into the night. Nightmares followed.
My favorite wonder weapon has to be the Thunder Gun, ez round clears and it was so cool to find in the campaign. The link between the Zombies story and Campaign was insanely perfect. Sometime into BO2 it kinda fell of though
Did you know Five was suppose to be the first map in Bo1 and Kino was suppose to be the final dlc in WaW but they couldn’t release cause the new cod at the time was coming out a few months later

i know it probably sounds ridiculous but the CRBS or whatever from Mauer der Toten is probably my favourite atm. The variants keep it interesting and the original version is super powerful too
