For me, this is one of the best DLC that they have brought to JWE 2, the new feathered species are incredible, well worked both in appearance and in interaction, feeding and fighting animations...they even took the trouble to add a insect food for a small prehistoric flying animal. The Yutyrannus and the Deinocheirus were undoubtedly the ones that surprised people the most, as a curious fact the Yuty was added, due to its size, to the small class of medium-sized carnivorous dinosaurs (Ah this class belongs tell us how Baryonyx, the Majungasaurus, Megalosaurus, etc), for that reason it is far from being more powerful than a Carnotaurus or a T-rex (for example) without being modified... But I can say that the animations of the Yuty to hunt goats, humans and other small dinosaurs It's a bestiality, I like it. The Deinocheirus is without a doubt my favorite animal from the DLC, apart from the fact that it is the most powerful of the 4 new species, they took advantage of it very well, being a large herbivore and with claws like the Theri (but smaller), it is worthy Called the "Death Duck", Deino's animation to kill medium-sized carnivores is something never seen before, something epic! It is incredible to see how the carnivore flees when he is intimidated, but the Deino instinctively chases him when he sees that his rival shows weakness, he attacks him from behind, both fall to the ground, but that kick that the Deino gives to the ground is what strong enough to kill the medium-sized carnivores (a predator by no means a small one), I like to think that the Deino, after giving that kick, thinks that his rival is still alive and for that reason he gets up quickly, but he realizes that he has destroyed his enemy haha, it's really wonderful. I don't know if you already saw the animation of the Deinocheirus to kill T-rex sized theropods... The herbivore literally gives them a right and left hook and destroys them, it's brutal, without a doubt my 3 favorite herbivorous dinosaurs from JWE 2 are now ; Deinocheirus, Therizinosaurus and Iguanodon, in addition to being the most brutal when it comes to killing carnivores.

If I played this game I would always choose to feed the carnivores live food. Live prey provides mental stimulation, allows them to satisfy their hunting instinct in a controlled environment and is great physical exercise for the animals. The second reason is that typically there are more male goats (studs) then there need to be for breeding reasons and if allowed to mature they will attempt to breed with their mother and siblings so most young Studs are usually killed so why not use them for this instead?
I sometimes use goats and sometimes meat to feed the dinosaurs. Because they have different animations. Also, the interaction animations of the same two species while eating meats are great.
