    Yes, we need a revolution of connectedness, realising our own participation in this grand deception of separation is what is to blame, we just need more love in the world. Hate divides, love connects. Thankyou both.

      Yeah but there's a literal huge GAP between those two men. Charles is authentic and Aubrey is a ridiculous poser. The only thing that "connects" them is Charles' openness and the fact that Aubrey needs good people to feature cos he is nothing without them. Aubrey is like a pathetic little vampire feeding off others. I don't even know anything about him but I saw some clips recently cos of Charles and all I saw was a pathetic beta-male with a loser's grin and his pathetic wife having to sit through him admitting to infidelity and threesomes. Ugh.

      Tom, when I read blame and hate in this text I get worried, because I wonder if this actions don't draw from the same perspective of separation we'd like to change. Thank you by the way :)

    The "selfish gene" is a bit of a misnomer. As the phrase was used in the title of Richard Dawkins' book, it referred not to a gene for selfishness but to the idea that those genes that are most successful at getting themselves replicated are the ones that become prevalent in a population. In some conceptions (e.g., group selection theory), these can include genes for altruism.

    Dennis Kucinich has been operating from this new place of politics for a long time. I think he should run again. RFK jr appears to be stuck in the old story when it comes to Isreal/Palestinian relations. I hope RFK jr starts listening to you guys and Dennis. #departmentofpeace

    There is a book written by a spiritual master over 15 years ago pointing to the fundamental premise CE is pointing to....the understanding of Prior Unity ( as opposed to the error of separation) is fundamental to the rightening of the world. All the vision needed is outlined in the book called "Not Two Is Peace".

    Oneness is the highest truth. Until we overcome our sense of duality, our kind will not know peace. May we all be unified in divine truth and beauty.

    • @agnesboedt834
      @agnesboedt834 Год назад +2

      I am not sure. If we repress parts of us (our tendency towards duality), we cannot be whole within. If we repress our own wholeness, how can we be one with others? Therefore, acknowledging and embracing our duality, is perhaps required to experience Oneness?

    • @fergusonshepherdsmith3917
      @fergusonshepherdsmith3917 Год назад +1

      @@agnesboedt834 that is a relevant and interesting point. I imagine it is, like many great truths, a paradox where each aspect is true in its own right, valid and applicable individually yet fundamentally the same thing. Examples such as the Ying and Yang, masculine and feminine, life and death are reminiscent of such paradoxical truths. The question is then how do we recognize our oneness whilst holding our inherent subjectivity in a space that allows our perceived differences to be secondary to that oneness. Are we doomed to live in opposition to each other? Or is it the lesson of this life to transcend our sense of duality to the oneness beyond?

    The good-bad dichotomy is an expression of a mental habit that (largely unconsciously) divides the world into "this" and "that." This duality is entirely mind constructed, and often amplified by egoic impulses, and especially prevalent in Western culture where true-false assumptions and the law of the excluded middle reign supreme. This fiction invariably gets in the way of self-less, benevolent action because the ego always attaches to or gets repulsed by one of the duality poles. Recognizing the nonduality of self and world is extremely valuable ("what is in it for me?" becomes a meaningless question) and an essential first step towards dissolving commonly held delusions.

    Yeah, Avatar ended up being a wrong story. So sad for all that money. I walked out and am still sad of the destroyer story, why can't Cameron figure that out? Humans are blowing it.

    • @agnesboedt834
      @agnesboedt834 Год назад

      To me, Cameron is brilliant because he manages to unite people at the movies who would choose to see it for entirely different reasons, thereby elevating the consciousness of everyone at different "stages" (I don't mean this hierarchical but by lack of a better word).

    Hey Charles: I am a big fan and appreciate your heart felt perspective. I was shocked that Robert Kennedy rhetoric on The war in Gaza is so one sided and lacking any respect for the lives of Palestinian refugees. Sorry but I and my Arab American friends won’t vote for him. This comment may out of place. But your idea of good evil is perfect.

The problem with this is that who would want these jobs other then these types since they are in love with power and murder. I don't have that answer
