Hi. Unfortunately, I don't know how to adjust or dim the panel lights. I tried to check my head unit but there's no feature to dim it. I saw a video on RUclips before that you can dim the lights but you have to fix the wirings.

Hi. You can change your startup logo by going to your Android head unit's system settings, then look for Car Settings -> Extra Settings then type password: 123456 then look for Startup Logo. Note: Settings may vary with other head units. Hope this helps.
I was able to enable the plane light just as you described, however I am unable to make the buttons work. Tried with the Panel Key mapping, but when I press on the button nothing happens, it is like it is not being detected by the unit. I know this is out of the scope of the video, but any hint would be great.
Hey man, can you help me. I've just bought android pie 9 head unit 10,1 inch. And i don't have menus like yours clicking the extra setting. Is this depend on the launcher or it is the original comes from the factory?

I have a new android head unit that looks identical to yours but with less ram etc. I have tried to follow your various guides but I’m unable to do many as I don’t have car settings and as a result no extra settings ability. Am I missing something in the initial set up? It’s the same with trying to put my car logo on screen, it just won’t do it. Very frustrating. Any advice please Jansen?
Hi. What is the version of your Android? Some Android head units have different terms. Instead of "Extra Settings", others have "Factory Settings". Check if you have that feature.
Open the Google app on your phone. Tap on More at the bottom right. Tap on Settings. Tap on Google Assistant. Scroll down to Assistant devices and tap on Phone or any other device you have listed where you want to turn Google Assistant off. Tap the Google Assistant toggle to turn it off.
And here I am trying to completely disable it 😡. The white setting is light blue so it doesnt match the rest of my dash. I want a clean dash and these panel lights irk my soul
@@outandaboutoz gonna try that. My lights don't come on as well. But then again, I didn't connect illumination wire but thought i wouldn't need to since I bought an adapter to connect my Hu to my stock harness.

I found i had to open the 'colour' app and then select a colour and it worked for me
