Hi Hank! We have a John Deere 2755 & 2555 tractor. I’ve just added a new Mahindra 6075 4WD with front end loader. We have a10 ft. Brush hog & heavy duty 6 ft. Bush hog. We are gearing up to round bale our own hay and so far we have a cutter, rake, and looking for a good deal on a baler. God bless you and your family & continued success on your RUclips channel.
I love my dog. Unfortunately, we lost the female recently. It's like losing a family member 😔 but at least we have some good memories of her. Thanks for commenting I appreciate it. Have a great weekend 👍
Great info! We just bought 44 acres and are in the market for our first tractor and a set of attachments. I’m thinking the brush hog, grapple and box blade are must haves. Just subscribed
i have a disc a bush hog a rear blade for grading and 3 point boom to lift with from the rear and a drag harrow i like a lot , i do need a box blade and maybe a cultipacker and spreader for lime and fertilizer for food plots , thanks for the video
Does the box blade come with the Mahindra? Your "pretty good' reminds me of AT&T's "Just OK" commercial. lol Good to know the grapple comes with it! wow. My Sage the cat is like that when we are recording too lol
Good quote at 3:17 “ how bad ya wanna beat something is how bad ya wanna mow over it.” “Well lets throw these old sledge hammers and cinder blocks on the lawn cuz we really wanna beat the brush hog to death by mowing over these items!!” Ok, now i wanna see a video of that... braumalite i think makes one that might be large enough🤪👍
I'm hoping that the finance committee (aka wife) will work with Santa this year and get me an EA grapple. I like the grapple and I think I could put it to really good use since right now we are in the process of claiming back the 80 acre family farm after several years of minimal care.
I have the Mahindra 2545. Mine came with the single bucket grapple. How well is yours holding up? My grapple will be delivered Monday so I'm trying to get a feel for what I bought. I'm an EA fan and would have bought one of theirs had this not been part of the deal. Liked the video btw.
I would say my bucket is decent. I'm happy with it. My grapple is ok. I really wish I could get an EA wicked grapple. If you look closely some of my "prongs" of my grapple are bent, and I feel I haven't beat it up enough to warrant them bending. The tractor has no issue lifting anything I put in it. Hope this helps. I'm just a beginner so I have a lot to learn.
Yes I would buy one again. I love it. It did have a fuel delivery issue that needed to be fixed, but other than that it's been great. It's a strong machine and does a great job for us. 👍
I got a Kubota M7060 with the land pride box blade and the FEL and the same grapple you have. Ill get a brush hog on July 4th at TSC, they have 15% off all items for veterans, So ill make a major purchase every year from TSC. I'll get a Rhino 6 ft. brush hog.
Quality content & love the Labs. Getting ready to retire on my 15 acres in the woods. I have about 1 acre cleared for my house which is located about 1/4 to 1/2 mile from the main road. I'll be using a tractor to maintain the road into my place, food plots for deer hunting, mowing, and getting up firewood. I've been looking at work tractors for a little while now. I've got a hobby tractor ('52 Ford 8N). I'm focusing on the 35 to 40 horse range. Will probably get about three or four implements with the tractor. Definitely getting a loader (not negotiable). This would be followed by a bush hog and grapple. Most of the dealers I've spoken to are pushing land planes vice a box blade for road maintenance. Any opinions on the land plane vs box blade debate?
I want a land plane so bad I can't stand it. LOL. Everything Attachments makes a superior land plane that I want. I think they both are great and a box blade may be a little more versatile for other projects, but you can't go wrong with a land plane for road maintenance.
Mike Morgan (Outdoors with the Morgans) has some videos comparing the bb and plane for drive maintenance you may wish to check out. Hank is correct in the bb having more versatility. One caution on purchase of implements is the old adage, you get what you pay for. Meaning spend more $$ and get implements made from heavier/thicker steel. I am not a big on abusing implements, but lighter implements require much more attention to how they are used/not used.
So sad to read that you lost Sheba. If you don’t know male and female labs will both be ‘hyper’ until they reach the roughly 2 year mark. It is almost a personality change with them. Males will greatly settle around this age while females are still a bit more ‘hyper’, they settle greatly after the 1st litter. Both are great family pets. They are one of my favorite breeds.
Awesome job Thank you Sir! God bless yall!!
Hank the best implement on a tractor is good looking woman driving it!
You got that right!
LOL You have the same problem that myself !!! My dogs love the camera !!! and the tripode fall !!! LOL Cheers !!!
I thought that was funny enough to leave in there 😂. Thanks for watching 👍

Great advise and that's a great group of implements for a hobby farm. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you!

Good call👍

I've run several proposals through my chief of finance. Lol. Hope she approves it. Lol. EA is definitely the best grapple out there

New subscriber, like your vid"s....
Thank you 😊
Just wondering how your Mahindra is holding up ? After owning it for awhile would you buy it all over again ?
Yes I would buy one again. I love it. It did have a fuel delivery issue that needed to be fixed, but other than that it's been great. It's a strong machine and does a great job for us. 👍

Didn't know that about TSC. I'll have to check it out. Retired USAF!
@@HamiltonvilleFarm Yea, thats how I bought my 24' gooseneck trailer, saved about 800. Thank you for your service!!!
If you have a rear remote hydraulic I would suggest a hydraulic cylinder for your top link. Makes life much easier doing road work.
Yes I want so bad. Maybe soon. It would be a nice addition. 👍

How big is ur house measurements ect
2980 sq ft. It was an old hay barn orginally
In your own opinion what kind of truck will make the best farm truck?
If you could get an older diesel like a Dodge Cummins, or older 7.3l F250 those are good choices. 👍

Yeah Mike makes great videos for sure
Augers only work in clean deep soil/dirt, In rocky soil they sheer pins and require a lot of maintenance, I know this first hand.
Looks like you need a camera man. I’m available after 16 August 😎
Yes sir!

Yes we miss her. She was a wonderful part of our family. Hey, I appreciate that comment that is very kind of you to make the time to say that. 🙏
Hamiltonville Farm we have lost more than a few of those family members over the years. Several of them have been labs. Great dogs.
