Very nice and quite accurate. G1 Devastator's solar beam rifle would make short work of the vastly inferior bayverse version. The solar beam rifle can emit up to 10,000 degree Celsius blasts.

This was inspired by the fact that literally none of the SS figures have their gun weapons :(
How about a part 2, where the SS constructicons use the power of DNA design’s upgrade kit to gain an advantage (or at least try to). The kit includes:
-Shoulder cannons,
-The vortex grinder,
-Gap fillers,
-Mixmaster’s cannon,
-Grappling hooks,
-An add-on to the head
-And most importantly,
“The enemy’s scrotum!”
Also, I like the way you pointed out the obvious and managed to not make it obnoxious but rather, entertaining.

Bayverse Devestator may look badass, but he really is pretty weak. G1 Devestator has a much higher advantage.
Actually Bayverse Devastator isn't that weak. It may seem that way ,but that's mostly because in the movies the US military just so happened to have some random experimental railgun to use.
I am refering to when he is compared to G1 Devestator. Bayverse Devestator can't stand on his own two legs, because he is too heavy for his own good. That's a major disadvantage. And even in the ROTF Videogame, he was killed by Bumblebee of all characters. (The game isn't cannon, but it's basically like Superman being killed by Robin.)
can't exactly do that when he can't stand on two legs without collapsing. G1 Devestator also has major plot protection, unlike Bayverse Devestator, who was killed in his first apperance.

Bayverse Devastator needed a lot more screen time in the original film. the only thing that made him relevant to the plot was for him to uncover the harvester in the pyramid before dying rather cheaply to a weapon that came outta nowhere and never got mentioned again.

Well if you want to get technical, movie Devastator is supposed to have tons of guns and missiles on him and even then some of the individual Constructions have weapons. Long haul has missiles in his arm kibble, Skipjack/Rampage have pistols along with their tread whips, and Mixmastsr has his shields and his gun mode.

Dude, movie form not toy. Yes toys were used, but we're talking animal vs robot. Hey, truth be told, we're still waiting for a true MOVIE combiner; and by movie I'm talking theater. And NO, Infernocus was weak AF.

OG Devastator will always be the best. One thing the Bay Dev has over G1 is that the scale of the vehicles/robots in their individual form was more up to scale. Scrapper looks like a Toro Lawnmower with a plow attachment in vehicle mode next to Ultra Magnus, or Optimus Prime.

Bayverse devastator has a lot of guns also over it long haul has missile rampage/skipjack has guns also mix master has a giant gun on his back.

It comes down to resistance, G1 Devastater took multiple heavy ordnance in original movie. Where as bays bots can be killed with modern handheld weapons. Blackout was killed by one dude with a M32. Bay Devistater was glorified mining equipment. Sure he had weapons, but he was built for the express purpose of unearthing the energon harvester and not combat.
G1 Devastator was forced to discombine from a punch from Grimlock, said to be 1,000,000 TPI (Tons per square inch). Bayverse Devastator was able to inhale the Great Pyramid of Giza, which weighs nearly 6 million tons. Scavenger is 50' tall, and in comparison to the 33' Optimus his near identical repaint fought, it can be estimated that G1 Devastator was not that much taller as he sizes near identically to G1 Optimus who was said to be around 30' tall. Combined Baystator was 100 feet tall. Plus in the movies it's explained that heat based weaponry weakens the metal they are made of. Blackout didn't die from "One dude with a M32", he died from CONSTANT bombardment until his armor was weak enough to be penetrated and hit his vital functions. Note that Blackout was also a Helicopter, not very heavy and dense construction vehicles. Our subject would be more comparible to Brawl, who took a significantly harder beating, even surviving blasts from Ironhide's canons which were powerful enough to launch Ironhide himself an estimated 10' into the air. Assuming Ironhide weighs as much as his vehicle mode, he's around 22,000-26,000-pounds. Another thing to note is the order of scenes of the final fight in ROTF are out of order, Devastator was supposed to be struck by the railgun before the shots of the individual constructicons on the ground. Considering this, almost all of the Constructicons survived the impact and fall.

This was far from a comprehensive fight, with the abilities of each more so based on what the toys had to offer rather than in universe stats and abilities. Such as scale. Bayverse Scavenger from bottom tire to top tire is nearly as big as G1 Devastator was mostly depicted. Scavenger was just the largest of 10 constructicons, forming a Devastator around 100 feet tall while on all fours. Considering Scavenger was around 50 feet tall, Bayverse devie can easily be assumed to be twice the height of G1. Another thing not depicted accurately is the power of the vortex. Ansulary media has compared the sucking power to that of a weak black hole, easily explaining how he could mulch up the 5,750,000 ton great Pyramid. Considering the maximum seen sucking power and size advantage, it is far more likely that Bayverse Devie would win in a fight.
Don't feel bad, many of the Bayverse characters in general are stronger and better fighters. Mainly because they're not cartoons.

Considering all it took to take out the bayverse Devastator was a railgun, this easily was no contest.

The Michael Bay versions actually had sucks that Hasbro didn't includes it but the in the movie revenge of the fallen works these are guys are from devastator actually was able to shoot grapple hooks and in the game she actually had guns that would come out of his arms and his back but this is Hasbro nowadays for the studio series but I want to see was a great ass stop motion hope to see more I understand stop-motion takes time but I can't wait for the next one

DNA kit for SS has some missile pods and motor master cones with a cannon referencing the scene to where he turned into a turret for 2 seconds, basically it could’ve been fair but g1 still wins

I actually dig the Bay movies for the most part (at least taken for what they are) and actually like a lot of the movie designs even though I'm a g1 fan. But Devastator and Galvatron are the two from the Bay movies that are the worst compared to their g1 counterparts. A Bay version of the green Devastator that stands upright would've been awesome. Preferably without testicles. Lockdown was a better Galvatron than Galvatron was. He even turned partially into a huge gun..
Funny, I thought both the Bay and Micromaster versions of Barricade and Blackout imo looked cool dispite the sizes of them and all.

Well, Revenge of the Fallen Devastator is meant to be more of a siege weapon, designed to destroy structures, with other weapons and tools used to either assist in destroying structures, or for defense, unlike G1 Devastator who seems to be more like your regular bot, just really, really big.
I think g1 in combat wins for a couple reasons 1 also im gonna refer to them as bay and g1 for for my convenience,
bay is very slow and fragile compared to g1 as it died to traditional human weaponry something that could barely scratch g1 also bay is literally unable to support itself g1 is much faster and more agile then bay also g1 can literally fly due to being in the cartoon this js seen on screen by the way bay only has missles and a vacuum which is incapable of sucking metal without damaging bay while g1 has laser cannons and is able to level cybertronian buildings in the g1 movie with his bare hands g1 has less parts which results in being more frail also his parts are a lot smarter being able to build super weapons also due to lore im assuming they work better as a team due to how dumb and animalistic bay is in rotf
Simply HILARIOUS! It’s a shame there wasn’t any melee action. But then again; the bayformer one wouldn’t be able to do much anyway. I imagine when it comes to ranged fire; the larger one would have missiles firing from all over, but I doubt it would do anything to harm the other. Even some third parties would smack that ugly thing around no problem. I honestly don’t know why the price on it can be so high at times. Perhaps because so few around due to its design being more of a Halloween decoration.
Well if we are realistic the G1 cartoon/Animated Movie Devastador would lose against the Bayverse Devastador.. but if we talk about the IDW g1 Devastador desing, oh god, Bayverse Devastador would get smashed

This was amazing. A lot better than some other stop motion channels I know. (For the most part)
Anyway, I thought this was really well animation but… it was kind of a let down of a fight. But it was funny because of that, so it’s still great!

G1 devastators very powerful G1 he destroyed most of Autobots City while having all the cannons fire on him having missiles freaking hit him in the back and dinobots attacked him and he beat them all and he still was going after that however devastators in Michael bays transformers just was a glorified vacuum cleaner that took off the top of a pyramid and got shot with a real gun and died
