I have a Blackstock book on my shelf that I haven't read yet. Hearing you talk about the If I Run book makes me want to pick it up and read it. A small story about why I haven't read the book, I bought it for my grandma a few years ago when she was sick because she really liked reading the same kind of books I do. When I read the back cover it sounded so awesome. She read part of it, but never had the chance to finish it. Now, that I'm done writing this, I have to go read it and finish it for her. Thank you for reminding me about the awesomeness of the book.
My mom read “If I Run” and then went on a Terri Blackstock binge read! She loves her books, but says that series was her favorite too! I hope to read it this year. Thanks for sharing Christian and clean books!!
My son is 14 and loves true crime! I’m going to recommend If I Run for him!!! I love that you’ve included your daughter in the book reviews, it’s great to hear from the perspective of a younger group. I also really appreciate how you share Christian and clean books! ❤
I'm excited to hear about the devotional book because every Easter I my daughters basket always has a new devotional in it, and i was curious which one to get this year .... our favorite book this week is The Insignificant Life of a Cactus. My daughter and I loved it and are getting the next book in the series.
If I Run series is amazing! I’ve not read Jamie JonWright either but I heard mixed reviews. I struggle with historical so one of the reasons I’ve stayed away. If you like intense thriller (with out being to crazy) clean faith books you definitely have to check out her darkest secrets by Jessica Patch. So good!
I love to read the classics and historical fiction. Right now I'm reading a non fiction on the book of Revelations. But my favorite book is probably the Chronicals of Narnia. Read them 3 times😁. Each time I loved them more.
My favorite adult level book is The Border Trilogy including All The Pretty Horses (not completely ‘clean’). As a kid my 2 favorites were The Secret Garden and Harris and Me by Gary Paulsen.
Thank you for the review! When I was a teenager I read “Running out of Time” and from that moment of I was hooked on reading. Highly recommend! As for a book I love, I fell more in love with reading after reading the Lord of the Rings trilogy! You do have to get through almost half the first book before it gets to the good stuff though!
Great review! We just finished reading Song for a Whale by Lynn Kelly. We used it in conjunction with our Oceanography/Marine Biology unit for 1st semester. We really enjoyed it. It's about a deaf girl who researches how to communicate with Bluee 55, the loneliest whale in the sea, a whale who sings a song no other whale can hear. I started reading it aloud but ended up purchasing it on Audible because I cry easily and the 1st few chapters were sad (probably non for anyone else but I'm the kind that crystals during dog commercials haha).
I always try to share all of the clean books, it's why God had me start a book channel on youtube to help others find clean books. I've actually been subscribed to your channel for awhile, I'll watch your videos more when I start homeschooling my future kids 😃...you know whenever God has that planned. I like Jaime Jo Wright, but I haven't read that book yet, I think that might be people's least favorite of hers. If you want creepy read The Souls of Lost Lake or Premonitions At Withers Farm.
Thank you! I’ve heard that from a few people…apparently I picked the wrong book of hers to read first lol 😂 My daughter said shes subscribed to your channel and loves it! She was so excited you commented here! ❤️ Thank you!
Oh man! I love these videos! I found all three Terri Blackstock books in a little free library and picked them up on your recommendation. ♥ I am currently reading The Midnight Library, and 2 non-fiction books... River of the gods: genius, courage and betrayle in the search for the source of the Nile, and Beyond a Reasonable Doubt: Inside the American Jury System. The devotional book sounds like a great one to go through with kids. ♥
@@ourthriftyhomeschool I am liking the jury book. I picked it up because I got summoned for jury duty (my first time). I am a nerd so I wanted to read about it. I got it in a haul of cast offs from a library. It is from the 80's. Lol! I considered making it required reading for civics. I think Amazon said it was 4-6th grade reading level.
Love these reviews, I’m always looking for clean reads! “If I Run” sounds so good; I’m currently reading “Eye of the Storm” -the second book to “A Change in the Winds. A recent favorite is “Redeeming Love” by Francine Rivers, which I put off for too long and ended up really enjoying it.
That so cool you’ve read Eye of the Storm and Change in the Winds! I’m excited to read the second book! I own Redeeming Love but haven’t read it yet! Good to know you enjoyed it! Thank you ❤️
I am not a huge mystery book person, but the If I run book sounds super intriguing!!! I recently read “Before we were yours” by Lisa Wingate which was excellent! Any of Francine Rivers Christian books! So good, and “The Four Winds” was also excellent by Kristin Hannah! I love that you and your daughter love to read together! My 7th grade son is an avid reader but we don’t typically like the same type of books! We do enjoy reading together for school though! Keeping putting that content out there Toni, I love watching all of your videos!! ❤️
I love these videos! My favorite read of January was Set the Stars Alight by Amanda Dykes I agree with your review of Jaime Jo Wright’s book. I’ve read almost all of hers and that was one of my least favorites. Her spookiest in my opinion is The Souls of Lost Lake. My favorite of hers is The Curse of Misty Wayfair. (I own all of hers, so if ever you’d like to borrow them to read let me know 🤓)
New subscriber... I didn't know you did clean book reviews! I love this! I think my daughter and I would be interested in the If I Run book. Thank you for the recommendation! I'm more a fan of historical fiction books, like Kristin Hannah's The Nightingale and Four Winds, but I'm always looking for clean books for my 14 year old and I to read. Have you checked out books from The Good and The Beautiful's library?
Thank you! So good to have you here! ❤️ You should definitely try If I Run! It’s soooo good! I haven’t read any of the books from TGTB. I did buy The Girl of The Limberlost from them but we haven’t read it yet. ❤️
Thank you so so much for doing this series!! I'm currentaly reading the never ending story by Mickeal Ende. I also read clean books because I'm muslim. I recommend these clean books/author: - Chris Bradford - the metamorphosis by Franz Kafka - animal farm by george orwell
Love this video!! My favorite fiction book is probably If I Live by Terri Blackstock! The whole series is really good ❤️ I think you might like Court of Swans by Melanie Dickerson!
I love watching your book reviews. I read If I Run and loved it. Have you read the second book? I have it reserved at my library and hopefully will pick it up this week. I am reading “Set the Stars Alight” right now and it good so far.
I just finished....."The Last Bookshop in London". I really like these reviews, I have read a few you have recommended and haven't been steered wrong yet, lol! ;-)
My girls and I love the Hallmark mysteries! Especially Aurora Teagarden! But they have watched most of them. That’s pretty much all they watch though mystery wise.

Awesome thank you. Are you still using christianlight for math? Trying to decide what Algebra 1 curriculum go with. Looking into shormann Algebra 1 with 1/2 geometry or CTC math. Have you heard of those programs? Any reviews? Any review on Algebra 1 christian light? God bless thank you.
Hi! I am still using CLE for math and love it for all my kids! But I don’t know what we’re doing for Algebra yet! I have heard of all of those that you mentioned….I haven’t gotten deep enough in research yet but I’ll let you know when I decide.
My current favorites are the A Court of Thorns and Roses series. But y’all DON’T go read those, they’re not appropriate for what you’re trying to read. 😂
Congratulations @juditkiss4553! You are the winner!
Thank you to all who entered!

I haven’t read the Lord of the Rings yet….it’s a little intimidating….but maybe I’ll try it!
Thanks ❤️
It's got magic , witches and wizards on my in it. Same as Harry Potter, Narnia ect. You can't cherry pick one and hate the rest.
@@Naturelady-rf5zx the cool part is, you can! We all have different convictions about what we read and what we watch. 😁
