"Hello,
Been a Letterman fan since the 80s when my mom would let me stay up past Johnny Carson on school nights to watch opening remarks up till the first guest.
I have one request that I hope can be fulfilled. On the Dec 18, 2002 show there was a segment: "What's the deal with Saddam Hussein and his hats?"
I would be forever grateful if you could upload it sometime.

My brother joined the Boy Scouts in 1991 and wore a beret as part of the uniform. I remember us putting his beret on, holding a comb up to our lips, and declaring, “I’m Saddam Hussein!”
The amount of detail in DL (and team)'s brains could easily have had us on Mars by now.

... one of my darkest memories is the realisation that I was watching a snuff film when the footage of his death was released and widely shown. this was a time before any sort of trigger warning 🙉🙊🙈👽🖖
