Another cool video. I worked with friends on a R100RS resurrection, so I can appreciate what you are doing. I'm not a huge fan of grinding items off of a bike, but it's your build and you are the one to make these decisions. Fun to watch!
Hey, I just finished rebuilding my r65 and I'm gonna make a custom wiring loom soon as well. I've found that new waterproof connectors are probably best because they're not as bulky which helps with so little space underneath and the original plastic ones crack and are expensive to replace anyways. hope the rest of the teardown goes well and good luck!

One question, a 70s fuel tank fits on a 80s model to be more specific fits on a 83 model?

you don't have to cut all the mounting on the frame ..on my r100rt it have all those mounting
