great review as usual bro. I have wide feet and always found boxing/wrestling (and most running) shoes super narrow and uncomfortable. Quick sizing update: I got the Hyper KO 2’s Tokyo Special Edition in size 11.5. I am a 10.5 true to size, but I usually buy sz 11 shoes to accommodate a wider foot. Now I have wide feet but normal length. My Hyper KO 1’s are size 11 and fit and feel great. These hyperko 2’s that i have are as follows: Length: is good even going over 1 full size from my tts. Width: is okay as well. EXCEPT on the side of my foot on both sides. My pinky toe area is really really painful. Even a full size up. With that being said…i think they will break in eventually. But i would not spar with them out of the box. Thats def gonna hurt. And I know everyone has diff feet, but if you’re a wide footer like me. GO UP A FULL SIZE. Hope that helps
@@p3ny298 they slightly did. But I can still only wear them for about an hr before pain starts setting in. Honestly great looking shoe. But for wide footers get something else or get the first hyperkos.
Man..amen on that flaw on Nike shoes, where it feels like they dont cater to people with wide feet. My first boxing shoes were Nike Machomais, I'm size 10 and I bought them size 10.5. They still felt really really tight, most especially with socks on. I saved up some money for about 2-3 years until I bought the reebok ones and they felt very comfortable and also true to size. Tbh I would still go with my Machomais but due to the comfort, its hard for me to buy from their brand again even though I like the performance better.
I am the fun of the shoes. It looks really good! Do wish they could improve the width of the shoe. Also do wish they will be officially released shortly. Nice review!
I agree with the width criticism man. Nike being lazy with shoe fit considering boxing covers so many weight divisions and your feet naturally expand when they warm up. I don't even bother looking at their shoes anymore. Reebok, Everlast, Rival fit a wider foot better. Even Adidas have improved on their shoe last. Thanks for the review.
I really like the design of the nike hyperko's. I tried them in the past, but I can't wear them because of the width. Atm I wear the adidas Speedex 18, they fit me perfectly.

What grown ass man has a foot that’s less than 2 inches wide? I had to send them back immediately. I think that people are willing to take fashion or looks over comfort and that is just ignorant. no matter how hard you try to break pair of shoes in, you cannot physically make them wider. Especially when it comes to work, or training intensely in combat sports. You would not believe the reviews that I’ve seen concerning the width of these boxing shoes. I’m not sure who decided to start making the boxing shoes like this, but it is truly disappointing. most of the factories that Nike and these other companies employe to mass produce these shoes, are overseas and I’m going to be honest. Chinese people are not very big people. When they try these shoes on, they probably fit them pretty well because they have a reasonably small and thin foot justifying a thinline shoe profile. But America is the most obese nation in the world. It’s a fact. And most every single fighter I know is either built like a tank or has a wide foot. I will say at least 90% of them and they should probably consider this before releasing the final products. I’m telling you the truth man. I had to save up for a while to get the hyperko 1 only to have two send them back three different times because no matter how many times I sent them back for a bigger size, they just did not come any wider. The only thing that happens is you end up with blisters in the middle of your feet and on the sides, and the length is just too long, which does not justify spending $200 in my opinion. It’s a huge letdown. I ended up just selling the third pair. I exchanged on eBay and purchased the Reeboks. That was a huge mistake also. I’m in the middle of the return process with their company and it is a living hell to say the least. Most of all, all I ever wanted was a really nice pair of training shoes because it’s my passion to train boxing, Only to suffer a huge disappointment, time and time again. Reebok needs to make a low/mid top version of the Renegade Boxing Boots because they are so difficult to take of and put on. I've never tried on any nike boxing shoes so what I did was wait till there was a sale and bought both 11.5 and 12 of the Reeboks and the overall size and weight difference in the 12 was noticable and with boxing u want no footslip/drag and I'm glad I ordered two and sent the bigger one back. Reebok has its sizing perfect.
I lace my Reeboks three holes down from the top and wrap the laces around the boot. I stole the idea from Mayweather. For me, it works perfectly... especially with the velcro strap around the ankle. The Reeboks have a rivets that holds the laces in place. The Nikes don't. The Adidas Speedex 18 have easy to use loops at the top and I find I only need to undo 1 of the laces to slide my feet in without effort. IDK if I'll ever warm up to the look of these new Nikes. I feel like they tried too hard with these , looks wise. If they’re great performance wise than it doesn’t really matter but maybe they should’ve stuck with the normal hyper KO’sand changed up some color ways
Man these are so ugly, and the color schemes suck. The original hyper KOs were amazing, I own a pair and they’re probably the best looking boxing shoes in all of boxing and they’re damn good quality too. The main reason I bought them was the support strap over the front of the foot closer to the toes, it provides amazing support when I’m pivoting, planting, or moving laterally or moving to create angles (which is what a majority of movement and footwork you do in boxing) so idk why Nike came out with these moon boots and got rid of that support strap. They should have just stuck with the original design and put all the effort into improving that shoe instead of creating a new one. I 100% have no interest in buying these, this is all just my opinion.
@@csquaredboxing first id like to thank you for your channel and your reviews, they’re very well done and informative. Second I’m sorry to give a negative review on the new hyper KOs but this is my honest opinion and I’m saying this in the hopes that someone takes my opinion into consideration before making a purchase and then realizing they made a mistake.. or maybe they like them.. I’ve been an athlete most of my life doing so many different sports and I also have been dealing with foot problems / hip problems / shin splints for a few years now so footwear is extremely important to me. I’m very critical of footwear in general and I have several pairs of boxing shoes because most just don’t seem to have the support I need. Obviously everyone is different we’re all built differently move differently and have different strength/weaknesses so what works for me might not work for someone else and vice versa. Now I haven’t tried these (new hyper KOs) myself so technically I don’t have personal experience with them and they could work great for me. But i really needed that support which the new ones got rid of and I know how it feels in boxing shoes that don’t have it. However when it comes to pure aesthetics I think these are extremely ugly lol but that’s just me.
@@CKpremium1992 you won't believe the price on ebay for Hyperko 1 is cheap already, because I sell these even higher, but still got ppl asking everyday, and sold it each pair every day from the states, Australia, Canada, Mexico, Philippines... those hyperko 1 on ebay dun have many size and colors, so ppl still come to me.
Nike shoes all run narrow. All of them. Anyone with wide feet should steer clear of Nike for any footwear. And last I checked, Adidas were at least, if not more, narrow. So I can't wear those either. Perhaps I can learn shoe repair and cobbling and start making my own boxing boots. But being married with two kids, I don't have time for that and the market is so niche that it wouldn't be worth the trouble Even if I could afford it, I doubt that even Filippo Di Nardo makes boxing boots in EE widths, much less in half sizes. And if I could afford it, I wouldn't simply because I'm not worthy and my wife and kids would kill me.
With the price of these they best make me fight like Canelo...

@csquaredboxing If im a 9.5 on nike regular shoes, do i order the same size?
Yes
@@csquaredboxing thanks
Thanks for your feedback
However when it comes to pure aesthetics I think these are extremely ugly lol but that’s just me.
you got the point, that's why so many people are still looking for Hyperko 1, I got customer asking every week.
@@doublea3433 i believe it. was hard for me to find mine as well and if you go on ebay people are price gauging the heck out of em.
I wear a 9.5 what size you think I should get ?
10
10.5-11
Wered u get them from pleaseeee I’m despo
dude every pair of nikes hurts the side of my feet for some reason
Yeah because they’re narrow
Horrible shoe. The loops that hold the laces rip. Mine lasted 6 months. Hyper Ko1> Hyper Ko2
But being married with two kids, I don't have time for that and the market is so niche that it wouldn't be worth the trouble
Even if I could afford it, I doubt that even Filippo Di Nardo makes boxing boots in EE widths, much less in half sizes. And if I could afford it, I wouldn't simply because I'm not worthy and my wife and kids would kill me.
💯
They cost more than 150 euros, the material looks very cheap :l
👍🏼🥊
@@csquaredboxing I went for Lebron Soldier 14
Im a wide footer myself it sucks
I agree, literally makes it impossible to fit in a lot of nice shoes. Like all nikes lol.
They look much worse then first ones.... And the first ones are not available anymore...
