I got one and I've been really impressed with the Drop Dead 2. Really enjoying the flavor from it. So much so I'll be getting one more in a different color. Hell Vape really did a good job with the new design! I also believe that the DD2 beats the V1 as far as flavor and airflow adjustment. Thanks for sharing your opinion on it Sorteal!

You mentioned the bridges you had used in rta were not yr thing but didn't mention why? May i ask why? I got the beserker model(beserker core). Restricted dl mtl. Wicks well. Amazing flavour.
Flavor is why I'm usually leery of RTA style Boro bridges. Most that I've tried have too much of a dialed down flavor for me. It's mostly because it's an unfair comparison between a Boro bridge and an RDA. The RDA is almost always going to be better flavor wise. The RDTA and mesh Boro bridges have the best flavor I've ever come across in the Boro format but they still fall short of an RDA. It's not to say the RTA style bridges have bad flavor, just muted flavor imo. There are several exceptions to that though like the Odd Job, 520, Truss, SteamShell and a few others but even out of those I like the RDTA and Mesh bridges better. Now with mesh I usually stick to fruits, candies, lemonades and beverage flavors because creams, custards and bakery/dessert flavors loose something when vaped on mesh. For those I go with an RDTA bridge like the Atemporal or Tita X RDTA. It's basically just personal choice and my own sense of taste/smell. I actually have been using the Odd Job as much as I've been using the Atemporal and Ponte recently because I love how coffee and RY4 recipes taste with it. So who knows my taste may eventually change but as of right now I'm still always a bit suspicious of RTA style bridges. Sorry, this became a long ass answer to a simple question 😂. I'm just a flavor chaser and RDAs are king to me but I still really dig the Boro format so I tend to stick to the bridges and bridge styles I know usually have the best flavor to me.

It's definitely better than the Dead Rabbit V2 and probably on par with the Dead Rabbit 3. You have more control over the airflow with the DD2 than the DR3 but flavor is pretty comparable (very good imo, especially if like using lower resistance coils). I tend to go back and forth on which one I like better so that probably means they're fairly equal.
Going to have to grab one of these, the kali clone on 2f looks nice too. Just wish they would do new names already and less big bold branding. I think if they did a brand new name and no big branding more people would be jumping on these

You may have the coils too close to the airflow for your coil build? I'm not sure. I've ran it with 0.07 Fraliens and heat wasn't an issue at all. Chain vaping it'll get a little hot but nothing crazy, although that's almost any RDA if your just doing rip, after rip, after rip. I just tried getting it hot after reading your comment to make sure I didn't overlook a con but even after about 20 straight long pulls back to back it wasn't really all that hot to the touch or anything. I could hold the RDA in my hand no problem. I'm guessing it's the coil placement but idk brother. I hope some repositioning helps.
@@Sorteal My coils are pretty much pulled to the center. Cut them at 5mm. It's the ones they provide with the RDA. I did 3 hits with airflow fully open, & it gets hot.
@@nasgothus Idk brother maybe try different coils? Like I said I have trouble getting it hot with under 0.1ohm coils on a mech even when chain vaping it. There may be an issue with the one you got, I'm just not sure without seeing it. Try different coils and if you're still having issues reach out to the seller or Hellvape themselves. I hate you're having issues with yours cuz it's a damn good RDA.

@@Sorteal I whole heartedly agree. I don't buy high end but...I have 14 rdas. I have 4 or so going daily as well as 5 exta rdtas I total . Sooo yummy

For a beginner I'd have to say the Dead Rabbit Solo out of those 3. It's easy to build, has good flavor and it's easy to rewick.

@nasgothus What Ohms is your build coming out to? With the ones included it should be 0.18 or 0.19 ohms.
