Number one at no point should a “ special prosecutor” be investigating ANYTHING. Prosecutors are presented with the results of an investigation by a seasoned detective, investigator, or agent. Prosecutors are not investigators. Prosecutors are trained evaluators and litigators of evidence presented to them by actual investigators. Prosecutors investigating a crime is pointless. A prosecutor will use a different lens when examining evidence that doesn’t focus on probable cause. Prosecutors will make an arrest or indictment decision based on beyond a reasonable doubt. That prejudices the victim or society adding an impossible threshold to any investigation. Of course he decided to forgo charging Biden with a beyond a reasonable doubt threshold.
This investigation should have been assigned to a seasoned LOCAL detective who is cross deputized federally. I guarantee you would have seen a very different presentation of facts, statements, and results.

Yes, he's an old man but I'm not at all convinced he was "well intended". Furthermore, remember this thing all went down in 2017, so his "bad memory" would not have been nearly as bad 7 years earlier. I'm not an attorney but I would think a good prosecutor could counter the jury's "sympathy" by demonstating the willfulness of his illegal actions. Not to mention in Bidens own words recently, "there's nothing wrong with my memory" although anyone with at least one good brain cell knows differently.
