Hi Sam, In the youtube videos, we keep it general enough to apply to everyone. However, in our courses, we cover every effect in great detail - check them out in the Academy here: academy.learnchristmaslighting.com/lcl-academy-DT
I am trying to setup the Holiday Coro 24inch star and having issues. It seems that the more recent versions of Xlights needs to be configured differently than all the videos I am finding from about 4 years ago. Do you have any suggestions on how to configure the HolidayCoro 24 inch star or maybe a video tutorial?
Question, I notice like on your mega tree example your only putting 100 leds or so per port. Is it better to divide them up into smaller sets or just max out the ports with 800 each? K8b scroller says it can drive 800 per port with external injection. Or am I looking at this wrongly?
I have a Holiday Coro 16port Flex Expansion Board, and I am having trouble lighting the matrix that I have plugged into it. I am probably missing something in xlights, This is hooked to my Hinxpix Pro via the long range port board. I can get the some of the matrix to light by dragging the first 4 (100pix) strings to port 17 (the starting port for long range on my controller) but can seam to figure out how to get the other 4 strings to work (Matrix is 8 strings/100px per string). Any advice, or if you have a video that I may have missed that I can watch would be great. I am stumped at the moment.
Hi David! Appreciate the videos and support you provide for us noobs. I did have a question regarding an issue I have. When my sequences aren't running, I would like my models to have a solid color effect. Setting them is easy (using ESPixelStick firmware and controller). But as soon as the sequence schedule starts, the solid color effect won't go away and the sequence is a mess. Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thank you, can't wait for part 3.
Please make sure next one no skipping and very detailed and what each effect do and how to tweak it.

How do you set the default brightness to 30% for pixels and 100% for ac lights?

Why didn't you explain what all the 'auto' options do??? I don't understand any of them. All these tutorials, people dont explain anything.
What the computer found it with it off?

You would just want to make a sequence that runs when your show isn't running as your background lighting.
@@LearnChristmasLighting Thank you, David. I figured that was the easiest option.
Awesome video.
You need to spend more time describing the show folder setup and saving. I just lost my whole setup trying to follow your directions
