Donald shows some simple paint correction and car care on black car paint. This porsche 914 has scratches, holograms and scratch marks. He goes straight from polishing with 3D Products 501 Compound to 505 Glaze in an amazing two steps to "wax" finish.

Love your guys products! I have to tell though, watching your videos is like watching an old Japanese Godzilla movie. The lips and the words never match up :)

Thanks for adding a new video! Really looking forward to seeing Donald us the new ACA compound and polish! I’m on my second 32oz bottle of AAT 501 and I think it’s great on fresh paint but it really lacks cut on harder fully cured clears. It also doesn’t always have a long enough buffing cycle or enough lubrication so I end up having to use it in 1x1 area or smaller. Will the new ACA compound have even less lubrication since it has even more cut? I’ve noticed that AAT 502 and HD Polish+ have a great buffing cycles compared to other polishes on the market and feature easy wipe without being too oily. But Cut+ and AAT 501 seem to dry up and become more difficult to use than other compounds on the market. As a die hard 3D fan I’m really hoping that ACA x-tra Cut compound will feature a slightly longer buffing cycle and easier wipe off!

We have a video for 500/520 it the works, the 500 is really fast and the 520 is unbelievable.

Can't wait. So is 520 going to be more like the beloved discontinued HD Adapt? HD Polish+ and AAT 502 just don't cut quite as well as HD Adapt did....even though 502 was suppose to similar to HD adapt as a 1-step polish that was capable of cutting like a mild compound while still finishing like a finishing polish.
Are the new ACA (Alpha Ceramic Alumini) a non-diminishing abrasive?

The 501 works real well with softer clears but is really lacking on harder clears. Working time is not real long either. I've used it as directed (wool/Flex 3401/ or Rotary. Was real disappointed with this stuff for the price. I could have just gotten a bum bottle?

Are you comparing the 501 to other products head to head on the same surface? We also have a more powerful compound that is for sale now, the ACA 500 will cut harder clears faster. Watch for it in upcoming videos!

      3D Products ,
Yes, compared to Menzerna fg400, and Meguiars 100 that I use on a daily basis the bottle of 501 that I had was (forgive me) terrible. It really put a bad taste in my mouth. I have nothing but great things to say about HD Speed, but the 501 that I had was useless on harder clears.
