I have very strong memory's of being taken there by my Dad. That was back in 1966 and 1968. The view of the Sea surging between the cliffs has remained with me ever since. Thank you, that was Fantastic.
Thank you for this video. I’m currently on holiday in Northern Ireland, and yesterday after visiting the Giants Causeway, we went to this bridge. Unfortunately, it was closed due to strong winds, but we got to see it from a distance. Your video helped me enjoy the bridge vicariously. Keep up the good work!
A beautiful place Greg but there is nothing in heaven and earth that would get me on that bridge 😆😆😆😆 It’s the kind of walk we would have once loved but with our mobility issues these days not a place we could go now, just those steps would be too much for my wife and she worse than me on high bridges. 😂 I have always loved Ireland’s coastline, its breath taking.
During the 80’s (while on a camping weekend in Kelly’s, Portrush) I crossed the rope bridge with a few friends. It was calm on the way over, we sat on the island and shared a spliff, on the way back the wind picked up and my mates started swaying the bridge when I was on it, that was bad enough, but I was carrying a huge suitcase size Ghetto Blaster/Beatbox, so I could only hold on with one hand. It was defo squeaky bum time. There wasn’t any safety nets on the walkway in those days, just two planks of wood and a massive drop onto the rocks below. Thank god I packed my bicycle clips. 😎

So glad you got to see it at least Patrick. You’ll have to come back for another visit to cross it. Good excuse for a return trip!
Was there in late September, unfortunately bridge was closed that day but absolutely beautiful area along the coast there
It’s truly stunning. Shame you didn’t get the chance to cross the bridge, but at least you crossed it on film with me! Thanks for watching.
What a stunning and beautiful place. A head for heights is required but well worth it

Yes, it wouldn’t be a trip for everyone Rob. But at least you can both enjoy it from the comfort of your home courtesy of Naked Ireland.
@@nakedireland I agree, you do the work I'll sit back and enjoy 😁 Looking forward to next weeks. Have a good Easter mate 👍
You too Rob.
