A very helpful video, thank you. Trading 7 years here and profitable, now at the stage of trying to find a suitable prop firm to work with. Appreciate you taking the time to do this comparison. Best wishes - Dan.
Don't know if you can answer this question but with 5ers it says a max drawdown of 6%/4%, now is that only from you initial balance or the daily balance, like fx. if your initial balance is 10k and you're in profit by 5k hence a 15k current balance, then in theory you could go and loose as much as 5600 or does it not work like that ?
The5ers is a balance based drawdown. That is to say if you are funded with 100,000 and your drawdown is 4000. It means that your drawdown will be 96,000. So if you are in profit and loses your entire profit and did not hit the Max drawdown of 96,000. You have not breached your drawdown.
The5ers instant funded account is unmatched by anything provided by other industry competitors. In terms of affordability, growth and balance based drawdown. It presents advantage that no other offers in the industry. It also got a reputation too.
For the 5%ers, the daily max draw down is -6%. What if day 1, I loss -2% but gain back the 2% at the end of the day Day 2, I loss -2% and gain back 2% at the end of the day Day 3 I loss -2% and gain back 2% at the end of the day. Does this mean the account will be closed because in total -6% has been loss
Hi your account would not be closed,as you would not be in drawdown and would be sitting at 0% if you lost 2% on them 3 days and no wins then you would lose the account hope this helps
