I think Billy was too afraid of being used or exploited. Definitely a lot of trust/abandonment issues going on. Daymond understood it, which was why he went back out to him. Love this

@@bruhyoualreadyknows3553 yeah and if you do not have the ability and put emotions aside and make decisions that, despite having the knowledge and feeling of it being there, come to a conclusion that is free of bias, then you’re not gonna be a top decision maker in any profession. If I was Damon and I went out of my way to explain it like I would to a six year old and he STILL doesn’t get it, I’d be like, f it. He might agree to it now but can you imagine the road ahead and how much time you’d have to spend to prevent him from f’ing it up?
@@bruhyoualreadyknows3553 I don’t mean to be harsh, but it’s almost like a monkey would understand. Imagine Damon, the start one, shoots of crocodiles one by one every day for 10 years with a gun. If a monkey saw this, for 10 years, do you think he’d go take on an crocodile with his bare hands? When even a monkey knows better, I think it’s WAYYYY too much of a stretch to say that his emotions affected him. It was a simple decision. You’re nice for defending him but come on. He’s just straight up slow.

This is the best I've seen from Damon. I feel bad for the guy, probably his experience with not being close to his famous Dad has given him a chip on his shoulder and unfortunately that is causing him to be his own worst enemy. Never thought Damon had this much heart.

Just so everyone knows... The deal was finalized, helping the program succeed and even led to future successful endeavors for Billy through today in 2023! His net worth is around $5 million.
He divorced with his wife. From my point of view, this guy is so stubborn, doing thing on his own and doesn't want to listen to people. Luckily Daymon and Mark felt pity with him and escalate his business even though need to deal with this guy.

I respect Damon John sucking up his pride and doing the deal clearly Billy is a genius in fitness but not business. Damon saw this and took a chance on him again after multiple rejections.

Ya especially since his dad kind of sounds like a POS. Nobody would’ve blamed him for bashing his dad, or even just going into more detail on the questions he was asked.
Daymond is a real one for giving that guy a second chance and running after him to help him out.
I am so glad Daemon went to Billy and reexplained. He really did not understand...probably because he and his wife have been through so much and they built this program while being homeless. He didn't want any other name on his brand. I am so glad he reconsidered. God bless both of them, and God bless Daemon for not allowing his ego to control him. He instead had his humanity come through. When Billy and his wife cried, it was them releasing the pain of being homeless. It is so difficult to be homeless. I know. We live in America, and I never thought this could happen in our country. Please don't stereotype the homeless. Many of them are not drug addicts, nor are they alcoholics.
You can tell he was under a ton of pressure, thats why he broke down at the end.
