The Demon was never meant to be more important than Finn the man. That's the problem. They book Finn like shit and then he becomes The Demon and he can beat anybody. The Demon was supposed to be an extension of Finn's greatness. Not regular Finn is weak and The Demon is strong.
Finn had mentioned before that he want that Demon King to remain as a babyface character and he also might want to bring in the Demon King as an alter ego for him to slide from heel to babyface for a particular feud
Sadly it felt like Vince didn’t have much interest in pushing Finn much after he returned in 2017, and using the Demon meant he had to almost always win. So combine that with Vince not actually wanting to push Finn at a top level anymore and you get the Demon shelved for the most part
The demon was a great character I like it when he only appeared at SummerSlam and had a nice little undefeated streak going at that point I would like to have seen him show up at a few more pay-per-views and continue with the undefeated streak I think that would have been cool
I can't say for certain if Finn was on the up and up when Vince left and HHH came into power. Vince was never really high on Finn and was never gonna use him to his potential like HHH would. He gave him the US Title and had him job week in and week out essentially becoming Austin Theory's punching bag for his Wrestlemania match against Patt. Now that he's apart of the Judgment Day under Haitch's control, you're starting to see what made his run in NXT so great. He's a fully fledged Heel now with the backing of the Man who knows how to use him well. Judgment Day doesn't have the ideal faction push where they're going after Gold no, but that ship might slowly be turning around. I could see Finn going after the WWE when it splits, Priest after the United States, and Rhea after the Raw Woman's Championship.
Well, maybe the WWE didn’t want to finish the storyline to Fin Baylor’s demon because it was too intrigued to come up with a storyline for and how do you beat a demon. They could’ve made it work but it would have had a lot of work to do for it and maybe it also had too much issues to book for it, setting it up for failure. Maybe it was just too much trouble to do the story so WWE decided to quit doing the storyline because of all the reasons mentioned here in this comment. And what about having to demon characters one being Fin Baylor’s demon and Bryan Wyatt’s Demon the fiend. Maybe that’s also had something to do with the dis-continuation of Fin Balor’s demon.
He still might. I could see him turning at some point when a rivalry dictates that he should - with purple replacing the red in the colour scheme. Although they may well try to "turn them all Demon" and that, I imagine, would not be good....
Mordecai had the look, and the Razor's Edge.. and nothing else. You also need to have charisma, mic skills, and at least a semblance of wrestling ability. Far more interesting characters were Nathan Jones and Sean O'Haire. Nathan was a stiff in the ring though, and Sean was where they truly dropped the ball.
@@wancina30 Nah, you have to realize that Taker was a product of the time period just as much as he was a product of Mark Calloway. If anyone should dethrone Roman reigns it should be Braun Strowman since that is why triple h brought him back and promised him a title shot instead he got him feuding with someone he can destroy
The gimmick doesn't make sense. Finn loses and can't beat the guy so he summons the Demon. So just always be the Demon and go undefeated why would he ever go back to Finn? Makes zero sense.
If Bray Wyatt does come back, what a great storyline would be if he goes against the Judgement Day. Maybe he could get Braun Strowman back in the mix. Then maybe down the line, they could get there hands on the Uso's.

Good point
He didn't beat Roman
@@CoolHandLuke778 what does that have to do with anything I said

Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde scenario
@@codygagecampbell4521 Where Mr. Hyde is the the good guy and Dr. Jekyll is the bad guy. Interesting.
The Demon was a great character and I feel like a lot of fans would love to see him return right along with Bray Wyatt.

Since he was the first universal WWE champion by beating Seth Rollins was a very great start. But they turned against him honoring the cheating Seth.

I always believe he could have pulled off a comic book series as the Demon King
That’s actually a pretty cool idea!!

Demon King Vs The FIEND ... who wins ?
Demon
Well he has never lost at WrestleMania just like at Undertaker
I miss the demon king
They really need to bring back the DEMON KING in finn we all liked it they should make the demon come back and destroy the judgment day
They should use the Demon in the Judgement Day. He could turn into the demon at ppvs only
I thought Demon Fin would be a mainstay..I also thought they'd start up a Bullet Club..But nah..😂💯
