I reactecd to one of cattle decap's songs, on the death atlas album, I liked there older album alot, very melodic and progressive deathcore. ouroboros I heard of, I don't really remember what they sound like... vektor and cytotoxin I never heard of..
Great to see someone getting exposed to this GEM of a guitar wonderland, through the RUclips Metal community! While Image Faded and Through the Fire and Flames are certainly the longest guitar solos, I really suggest you check out these other legendary solos! Necrophagist - EVERY song lol. But especially Fermented Offal Discharge, Intestinal Incubation, The Stillborn One and Advanced Corpse Tumor Nevermore - Ambivalent Obscura - Velocity (truly, MINDBLOWING, trust me - it does not sound like any other solo you've heard! :D) Dream Theater - Breaking All Illusions Death - A Moment of Clarity & Without Judgement (if I have to limit myself to 2) NYN - Omnipotence Paradox (just fucking mindblowing in general.. watch the lead guitarist play his leads, the "melodic sweep motif" is bonkers :D) ..and also the "other" Bloodshot Dawn song with multiple guitarists: "Battle For The Omniverse" (including my favourite guitarist, Jeff Loomis from Nevermore)!
