Haven't been to Orlando in years. But I always liked I-Drive. We almost always have bad luck getting steak out. Including recently at a place in Gatlinburg (not the Peddler) that was supposed to be so good. Back in the day, you could get a great steak even at Western Sizzlin'. Thanks for another great report. You all are my favorite account on YT. If I could only keep one, it would be you guys.
Derrick your salad looked really good. I would have eaten your onions for you. I had steak today and just like you I put A1 on it. A1 makes a good steak taste better. The price for the lunch special was very reasonable. Especially for everything that you got. Thank you for your excellent and honest review. We can always count on you both to give us an honest, accurate and very helpful review.

Looks like a good value on the lunch special. David liked the looks of Shawnasi's prime rib. That was nice of them to offer you the chocolate cake. It would be interesting to go at dinner and see if it is the same quality steak. Thanks for the review!
I would go back and order either the prime rib, or a better cut of steak. Or, possibly a burger. Mine simply was not a good quality. Yes, it was nice of her to do that with the cake. We talked to her a few minutes right after we did the closeout, as she came outside on break. Really nice girl. But yes, the lunch specials can't be beaten on price.
I have been to the Black Angus Steakhouse. The Early Bird lunch special is really good with great portion sizes. I have gotten the salad, rolls, bacon wrapped filet or house steak with baked potato and the carrot cake for dessert. I like their food and it is a great value. Glad you thought it was good overall.
Derrick, your steak reminded of what my ex-wife and I saw in Ontario in 1984 on our honeymoon when so many restaurants were advertising "Steak On A Kaiser!" A NY Strip, but about 1/4" thick. I wonder what the "House Steak" is? The pricing makes me think a Hamburger Steak. But, who knows? Usual great review. Trust me, that your excellence is appreciated. I'll not repeat the pain of my only trip so far to Orlando. With one exception, I was limited to the hotel coffee shop for my meals on that stay. The exception? One supper at Howard Johnson's. The only supper on that trip which my father was sober for. Getting back to the videos, PSE keep up the good work! God Bless!
I remember when there were Howard Johnson's restaurants in many locations. Last I heard, there was only 1 left, somewhere up north. And that was years back, so it may not even still be there. I think the NY Strip (the thin one), was the house steak.

@@NCMemoryMakers It was popular in the late 90's early 2000's. I believe they had about 20 locations..3 or 4 in GA and the rest in FL. There is 1 left in Titusville thats still open if ya'll get a chance and are in that area. They tout "oak fire" steaks over real wood fire ..not expensive and I know its simple but you will not find a better baked potato lol
We like Texas Roadhouse, too...When we're around home. We weren't about to go to a national chain steakhouse that we can get at home, while vacationing. Wanted to try something we don't have around here.
