@@AA-777-AA There is a quite lot antirussian propaganda in media, like elsewhere in Europe (but much less then in Czech Republic. A Czech newspaper I read publishes literally every single day at least two or three articles about Russia that let you with negative feelings about Russia, focusing on allegations, accidents, bizarre crimes etc. It is very nasty, I am surprised people are not revolting against such manipulation). Some Slovaks, especially those, who were in they twenties, thirties at that time, still can't get over the occupation in 1968. But generally the most people in Slovakia likes Russia (they either realise that we would be exterminated by Nazis if Russia didn't stop them or simply see through the propaganda) which makes us shine on this sad map (www.pewresearch.org/fact-tank/2020/02/07/russia-and-putin-receive-low-ratings-globally/) . President Putin is the most trusted world leader in Slovakia with something close to 50%, with president Trump or chancellor Merkel and the second place with numbers circa 25%.

Erstmalig war auch ich schwankend. Dann habe ich meine Enttäuschung überwunden, schätze ich die beiden Sänger doch allzu sehr. Einmal ist keinmal. Noch später haben mir Hintergrund-Infos eine Kommentators geholfen, das Lied als das einzuordnen was es ursprünglich war: ein auf Russisch gesungenes parodistisches Lied in einem amerikanischen Comuterspiel, nun von Karl Sternau ins Deutsche übersetzt. Puh, war das kompliziert!
