    Hi Kirsty, I just finished painting this together with you on your Legacy Art Class Collection and I am so proud of the result. I really enjoyed your class so much! I would have never be able to draw such a portrait without your guidance. I totally recommend to buy this tutorial collection to anyone who's willing to improve their skills. Thank you very much! 👍 Warm greetings from Austria 😊

    If it isn't too much to ask would you mind doing a review on the new Faber Castell Goldfaber? They are the new and firstline of soft-core pencil made by Faber Castell and it would be nice if you could compare them to prismacolors or luminance since they are also way cheaper than those and it t may be an alternative for artist on a budget like me and others

    Hi Kirsty, how you transfer the initial lines of your drawings...? Which technique do you use to keep the right proportions..?. In your tutorials you always start them shading, but as you know, the most important step is to get the right proportions, mainly in a face. Thanks in advance, Lola

  • @Fpsnick13

    • @Jane-hl7wv
      @Jane-hl7wv 5 лет назад +21

      @@Turin121 She doesn't trace, watch her 'get an accurate sketch every time with this technique' video. This is where she shows you how to sketch a general outline of the face. I agree she should have shown the sketching process but claiming that she traced it with no evidence is ridiculous, especially when she has a video showing how she sketches.

    • @Jane-hl7wv
      @Jane-hl7wv 5 лет назад +14

      @@Turin121 Yes, she did say she traces some artwork but she does not do it all the time. Not to mention, tracing is not a bad thing as you are trying to imply, in fact it can be really helpful for people who are starting off art or even professionals (like the video said). This is a tutorial meaning that it is supposed to provide a method for artists that are struggling to draw and improve on their art. I was unaware that she traced this particular artwork.
