Its 2 yrs after this video but what I dont understand is when listing the exact color reds, WHY do artists list “bright or dark” red. I dont own a single red labeled “bright red” or “dark red”. This is SUCH beautiful REDS - exactly what Im needing for my oil painting of a gerbera daisy & I just wish you’d list the exact color of reds (if theres a brand of paint that HAS bright or dark red, please let me know)! TY. Beautiful job!!

@Susan Burns Copyright? For real? Aren't we being taught to paint and "copy" these paintings?? I'm just getting started and I want to get some tracing paper so I can paint other things too. Is this breaking copyright laws?
@@lydia6638 du kannst für dich alles kopieren und Nach malen. Es geht sicher nur um das verkaufen von Werken mit dem Urheberrecht. Und eins noch. Wir werden das nicht eins zu eins so machen wie er. Jede einzelne Blatt oder Ast. Das heißt es sieht ähnlich aus aber nicht gleich. Also ist das nur so ähnlich und keine Betroffenheit von Urheberrecht

I am a beginner and I've had more luck with successful paintings than from a longer tutorial where someone walks you through. You just have to pay close attention to his process. Acrylics dry very fast and how fast depends on your environment....keep trying and if you want it badly enough I promise you'll be happy with your painting! My family was amazed with my paintings based off of Peter's video's, nothing is going to look exactly like his but I'd assume that he's done this for a long time. Just keep trying!!! Personal opinion: If the moon was not there the interpretation of the painting would differ from person to person. Cuz I had some thoughts about the painting and everything changed the moment that moon was drawn.

I like have no experience but this was such an amazing tutorial I actually created something I genuinly liked, will do this again with many more colours. It's practicing with where to put them but it's nice 🥰
