It’s the Climb adapter foot fulcrum that’s the magic here: modulating the fore-aft movement of the Move and making it easy to turn or readjust the handlebars during hard sprint/out-of-saddle efforts.

    Hi @DesFit,
Thanks for your explanations ,I'm in for this bundle 🥰 you definitely convinced me !
I'm a bit worried about the Frame compatibility with my Ritchey ascent due to his BB drop 68 mm, any opinion ?

I don’t think that would make enough difference

I use the KICKR (non-move version) on top of a rocker plate (home made) and a plastic half-flat Bosu ball under Climb. Works great and much less $$. Before I got the Climb I used my front wheel on a standard trainer wheel block to raise it up to compensate for the height of the trainer. A wheel block would limit that extreme front to back movement perhaps, but I agree that the Climb makes the experience significantly better and more realistic. I would not go back to the KICKR without a rocker plate, that's for certain.

Hi, I've only had the KICKR for a while, and just got the CLIMB - can you tell me more about your setup? Anything in particular you followed for the DIY rocker plate, and what exactly does the bosu ball under the Climb help with?

For the DIY rocker plate, search RUclips for lots of ideas. I used a simple 0.75” plywood a few inches bigger than the KICKR footprint with holes in each corner that are sized to trap a tennis ball under each corner. For the Climb, the bosu ball that is flat on one side raises the Climb to the height of the KICKR, compensating for the added height of the rocker plate. The soft bosu allows the Climb to rock back and forth. That’s all there is to it. Hope this helps.

I wish I had the cash to update to this… but I can’t justify a new KICKR when my current KICKR is still perfectly fine

Thanks for the great review. How would you compare this setup to Kickr bike shift? It seems to me that this is much better option since you get movement, while bike is stationery. Thanks again!

Is there a way to use kickr move locked and kickr climb without the adaptor for the climb?

I have this exact set up and it’s great! But I’m tempted to get the kickr bike. I’m really undecided as to upgrade or not. Any thoughts on this??

Hi Des! Hope you are well. I’m looking for a cycling computer for my mountain bike. I’ve just seen the Garmin edge 130 plus hrm bundle and Wahoo Roam v1 on sale for the same price. Which would you recommend please? I have a Garmin Fenix 6s that you advised me on. I would like to track my stats for fitness but I’m just a casual rider. Some mapping would be nice especially on the trails. Sorry I know it’s not directly related to this video. Would really appreciate your advice. Or anyone else in the comments. Thanks for your help!

Great review, great side view of you on the bike. Im guessing you are around 65kg, I am a heavier rider 92kg currently hoping to get to 86kg. Do you think the extra weight with me out of the saddle would cause any water and tear on the kickr climb? I’m not sure how sturdy the connection between front drop out and kickr climb is.

They say it goes up to a 250lb weight limit, so seems well within range. Thanks!

This setup or Kickr bike V2, which would you choose?
The bike seems to have same back and forth movement only smaller.

That Climb looks shifty. I'm very glad that zero Deses were harmed in the filming of this video.
