It's a crime that you don't have hundreds of thousands of subscribers! The quality of the videos that you create is absolutely spectacular. Thank you so much for documenting such an incredible hike through the highlands. Looking forward to the next adventure! Diolch!
You should upload videos 📹 regularly. I always wait for your video. You are one of them who inspired me to get out of my comfort space and explore nature. I always anxiously wait for your video. Please keep doing it regularly. 😊
I did the walk from Glen Finnan Viaduct (Harry Potter) to the Old Forge Inn about 5 years ago. Three hard days, two nights wild camping. Absolutely loved it. Great video of a route I wasn't aware of. Hmmmmmm. Do I go again!
Wonderful video! As a UK hiker who has yet to venture up into Scotland (I'm in Birmingham) this wonderful route is now added to my bucket list. Can't wait to experience this in person one day, absolutely stunning!
Hey Chris, I’m a brand new subscriber. Love your videos! Such stunning beauty. Scotland is on my bucket list…and now so is the “Old Forge”! Buffalo! (Fellow member since 1998).
A brilliantly made video, you've done a great job of capturing the drama and beauty of the landscape, as well as telling the story. And you were even blessed with that elusive Scottish sun
Great video, That's a hard slog, well done to all, I've walked from Kinlochhorne to the White cottage bunkhouse at Barrisdale Bay, stayed in the Cottage and walked to inverewe for a pint. Awesome part of the Country.
Great video. Thanks for this. Am doing this same route next week over two days so we can also include the peak of Ladhar Bheinn. Not expecting such nice weather as you had!
This is my second viewing of your walks I find them great and the views are fantastic but hey it's Scotland 😊. I've liked and subscribed . I wish I was as fit to do the walks but I'm not. Happy hiking
Mallaig local here, loved seeing this walking route and has convinced me to actually visit Knoydart (brave the boats there). Thought it was worth a mention but Mallaig is pronounced Mah-lig rather than Mahl-laig despite it's spelling cuz we love to be awkward :)
I just watched a group trek the same trail though I guess maybe in September or late August. You had the sunny side of Scotland smiling at you weather wise, the other group I saw unfortunately did not wind and rain flood stream to travers and then when they finally got to old forge like you they found the renovation had been pushed back. Quite the contrast.
Time changes everything! Watching in our time it’s just a great place. But there’s a Knoydart in Nova Scotia and my family have roots in the fur trade as Hudson Bay men. Life would have been very different 200 years ago to encourage them to move. Screw the good old days!
Perfect video! Even a blind man would be stunned by the difference between the usual action cams and your equipment. Playing with aperture, focal length, and image field makes it so much more lively. And you can fly a drone.
Scotland is on the island of Britain. Britain is not a country it’s just the name of the island like Haiti and Dominican Republic are on the island of Hispaniola. It has nothing to do with politics or the independence of the countries on it.
Majestical!
Majestic and magical?
Lol
It must be a Welsh word ?😂
😂

Hi Chris ,
Is there any hiking group going to the old forge this month
Amazing, did you get a ferry back?
You haven't watched the whole video, have you?
@ohwhataknight it's fascinating and confusing, it looks like you took a boat to another location.
Went there about 30 years ago, but I cheated and got the boat from Mallaig. A great memory.
Hi mate what watch are you wearing? Torn between fenix and epix
I wish I could hike like this but my back wouldn’t take it.
is majestical a word ? - surely its majestic.
Majestical sounds better

It's not remote its 20min from Mallaig.
You got my sub mate; as a scot, you made me homesick, & dying to get back. The quality & work you put into your vlogs, are amazing; congrats🤩
