As 32 that grew up in metal scenes that had bar laces everywhere I hate that lace style and I’m not even a Jordan purist. I really don’t like white or patent leather jordans

All my Jordan 3's are laced alternate, over the top and through...think it gives me the loose look with the bow-tie, PLUS adds the slip on access for me.
I do barzzz, but use my top eyelet as a lock. In the front eyelet, out the back eyelet. Saves me from having a knot behind the tongue, and it keeps a pretty consistent throughout the day.
u should make content do a lil reel wit some customs
Over time I’ve learned to go with the loose fit not only does it look dope with the loose laces like Yeezy style but you can just slip em on, deff

Loose only looks good on J1s, looks sloppy on 3s and 4s. Bars are easily the best. Looks clean as hell
The bar style is pretty great if you're displaying the shoe, but for me? Ain't nothing better than the tight og style on these. I rock my 1s loose, but these gotta lock my foot in every time I put them on

#3 is my go to but some times ill tighten all the slack out, hold the two tips together and do like a normal knot…idk what its called lol where you make a circle then thru the middle. tightens them up to prevent heel drag a bit more but still loose enough to slip on and off

I do the over and in to the lace hole with the overlapping lace of the X pointing towards the outside of the shoe and I don’t put the laces through the rubber lace holes but put them under so they are hidden. Try it

I previously bought the racer blues and honestly looks dope. I do have a question that needs an answer. I'm new to the sneaker-head community and I may sound dumb when I ask this question but what is the point of lacing your Jordans? Is it to make the shoe more tighter or looser or is it simply all for style? Just so you know, I have been tying shoes normally for my whole life and it kind of messes up my laces.
