  • Join us on our travels! About this episode:
Settle down with that cup of tea/coffee (or a glass 🍷 of your favourite tipple) a join us as we head to the highest train station in Europe!
Early alarm and Louise gets the coffee in the pot and we head out from our AirBnB towards Switzerland (Jungfraujoch). We grab tickets for the dogs at the local station (Interlarken) and purchase some snacks for the start of our journey on the first train. We get off our first train at Grindlewald and head on over to the cable cars! This is an amazing station, and lots of shops etc. the cable car was amazing, and took about 15 mins to get to Eigergletscher where the dogs had a quick play (and poo) in the snow.
Then onto the the final leg of our journey to Jungfraujoch. We stopped half way to have a look out over towards the glacier, and to let the other train head down and after a quick science lesson from Megan we continue our journey to Jungfraujoch.
When we have arrived at the top, we head over to the exhibits and then onto the viewing platform, and wow what a view! This place is amazing and if you are if the area you really must try and take a visit. A walk through the ice tunnel and amazingly no one fell over and the dogs loved it, we then headed out to have another play in the snow ☃️.
Back on the train down to Interlarken and heading towards our hostel for the night.
Catch us on our next episode where we continue to show you our travels 😃

great video! How recommended is it to go with a dog? I have a French Bulldog and I was thinking about taking him with us. Thanks!

Hey Ortzy....sorry for the delay in replying, we have just returned from India (watch out for the upcoming vlog, it is going to be a good one 😃). Reference taking a dog on the Camino, we saw a couple of dogs walking the full Camino Frances (500 miles) and they seemed to be doing pretty well considering it was also really hot. The one thing to watch is that a lot of Alburgues will not take dogs in so you would have to do a bit of research into which ones would. Also, if you are walking the full way there was one of the dog owners that put some sort of moisturiser on his dogs pads as they started to get sore. Beware that there are also quite a few lose dogs when walking through the more rural areas...not saying that there would be an issue, but you wouldn't want your dog to end up the worse off if they ad a disagreement with a local dog. So in answer to your question, it is possible, just a lot more planning needed 👣 🐕‍🦺 Buen Camino
