The funny thing is there is a dragon collossi boss too so wezaemon prolly could cleave him with the skills. And if dragon boss is talked like that then wezaemon could be one of the strongest if not the strongest boss, the developer said this but idk ok

The boss seemed to once have been the protagonist of his own story, complete with a healer/love interest.

Wethermon is probably my favorite anime game boss. His design and attacks are just sublime.

What I really love about this show (apart from the fantastic animation and music) are the moments when it GETS gamers. This fight is the perfect example of that. This entire phase was just him cheesing the encounter until his cooldowns popped. Who hasn't been there?

Ikr, this fight's looking like it's going to be 4 episodes long. But, on the same note, it's 4 episodes long. Anyone coming into this is gonna have a lot to binge.
Where can they ever split a fight into separate episodes without there being a "cliffhanger"? This isn't even a cliffhanger, a cliffhanger would be if the episode ended without showing him throwing the revive orb
When I saw the Sky Clear, it reminded me of Saitama's serious punch that split the clouds of the world. It gave me shivers to see that attack. 🤩
this guy was pretty much a elden ring/dark soul boss with how his move sets start off as telegraph until you get down his hp he starts whipping out moves that become harder to dodge or even counter

Let me solo her may have popularised the naked dude with a weird looking mask, and may have been inspired by Shargri-la online but there have always been naked dudes since the first souls.
Most of them naked invaders inspiring fear towards their fully armoured targets.
@@Ismsanmar dark souls games had that kind of players long ago. Its not just elden ring thing. I haven't played any souls game (I don't have PC), and even i know for sure because i have seen dudes doing no armor thing in videos.
The animation for this show is really good and is anime itself is much better than I thought it would.

My favorite part of this scene is that final shot of Sunraku's eye. He's just gone through a whole monologue where he's said he's at his limit, and this is his only option right now, and it wasn't enough. His equipment's destroyed, and his friends are too far away to rezz him. Most people, you'd see a look of resignation or fear or despair on their face. But that one shot shows unwavering determination. It's almost chilling, and its hype as hell, especially for the reveal of his self-rezz

You knownthe best part for me is that the mechanics of this boss is somthing i can see a dark souls game doing for an hidden optional boss. It just the animes would still be like x10 harder to figure out especially for players skip and don't ready anything 😂😂

in itself it is a Shonen (Shonen is not a genre but a target).
Its genre is probably Action, Fantasy, Comedy I'd say... I should have checked on MyAnimeList before so I don't answer incorrectly but I feel that I'm not too far from the truth. Don't hesitate to double check.
If you like that Video Game idea, it's more a theme than a genre. If you want recommendation of something similar or with this video game theme, I can name : Sword Art Online, Log Horizon, Bofuri, The King's Avatar, Infinite Dendogram (that I didn't like, but who knows, try it), Overlord (kinda), Toaru Ossan no VRMMO Katsudouki and certainly some other that I can't think of off the top of my head

You would literally need to download millions of gigabytes, terabytes of data for to run on a computer as big as the one you have, and the developers would probably take a longer time making the game than you downloading it.
Tbf, SLF also isn't strictly an MMO. It's kinda like this weird love child between an MMO and a soulslike ARPG, not that that's a bad thing, tho 🤷🏾♂️😶

@@samuelfaille-denis8098 I hear ya, but when we have other shows like ReZero/Mushoku Tensei giving longer episodes, running into the credits, that feels like passion. The SLF extras feels like filler padding and cheapens the experience for me.
@@MrWhiteKniight Yeah but those longer episodes usually arent very well drawn and are done in a crunch. The SLF extras are fun little passion projects to let off steam letting them focus the real work of those fight scenes

Why i think that the Enemy has same skills n attributes as Hagane,Meta knight or any Familiar Tales of Swordsman Hero,Any Hero from Quintet game?,Quintelemental Sword skills,Remembering That Hero of Time teaching skills to the Hero of Twilight
Phase 3 means a third ep. It’s exciting, but how many eps it gonna take? Also about 27 minute total run minus 1:30 min for OP and 5 min ED leaves only approx 20:30 of actual runtime per week. It’s too short!
One-two more episodes. One for the last phase and a cliffhanger at the moment of defeating Wezaemon and another to finish the quest and deal with PK-guild, as well as returning to Vash.
and to that add the little shangri-la theater that lasted too long in this episode

i love how they went with the whole samurai theme for wezaemon yet when he sheathes his sword he does it incorrectly could it be an intentional detail left behind or a simple animation mistake?
EDIT: looks like while hes sheathing it to be correct but after when it shows the whole blade in 2:15 its incorrect, an animation mistake i guess

I hear this show is good, but I can't get into VMMO animes, I feel like none of them learned anything from SAO S1 which is that there needs to be actual consequences in order to create tension. If there is nothing to loose then there is no reason to watch.
Maybe you prefer animes with high stakes involved while this anime is all about playing games with low to no stakes.
This is not supposed to be an end of the world anime
Theres consequences, the mc gets invested into these bunny npcs and if they die they die permanently.
Plus it doesnt forget he has a real life. But mostly the story and pacing is very well done. Definitely worth a try
