the fact that jp nadda and amit malviya started relying too much on modi and shah duo to win election that they didnt manage party foot workers and effective social media campaign. They only focused on discussing congress manifesto and mocking rahul gandhi. BJP sometimes made some self goal by making incorrect Ads like war rukwa di papa. Main reason of defeat is BJP handshaked with corrupt ajit pawar (no need after shinde broke shiv sena), ashok chavan, etc then added nitish kumar, etc and didnt gave importance to local leaders suggestions even ignored yogi recommended candidates. This over confidence hit them hard.

@@matte67Education, Healthcare etc are not welfare. They are actually investment, because they improve the productivity. Free electricity, bus and water are freebies, as they only reduce expenditure. And such freebies should be given as direct cash transfers, than forcing distributors to subsidize and shoulder the costs. The costs should be on govt's balance sheets. Even in electricity, incentive for solar panels is investment not freebie, as it helps people generate their own electricity, rather than someone else paying their bills.

Mr. Gupta, reporter of your stature must stop referring governments by PMs name and Opposition by person name as well. That may be appropriate in Presidential Democracy. Anyway there is in general inclination towards making everything person centric rather than about institutes. For sure you must be very conscious to make correct references. It is simple, will you prefer your channel to be referred to as "The Print" or Shekhar Gupta's youtube channel... So governments in India must be referred to by winning governing party's name or coalition name and opposition policies as the opposition party's name not individuals. Hope you appreciate the point and may make appropriate adjustments to your references in future.

Asking fellow BJP supporters, Are you happy with the way BJP and Modi fighting corruption in last 11 years . Forget about own party, at least from the opposition how many people before 2014 who involved in corruption convicted(I'm talking about conviction not just sending them 2 months jail to intimidate them) as for as you can remember. on top of it, joining hands with Ajit Pawar. Then if you turn back and say I'm fighting corruption No one will believe you. You doesn't even have guts to take action against your own ministers from Karnataka where lot of them caught red handed accepting bribery and indulging in corruption. 1. I have myself been a beneficiary of zero depreciation and have also seen many customers getting benefitted.

Very simple as usual the corporates will remove high payung jobs and hire these interns at the government expense to do their job free of cost. The government has not endured jobs but has ensured maximisation of profits for corporates by taxpayer's money. This government is a suit boot ki sarkar only. If they wanted to give new employment then they could have asked the corporates to not fire anyone and hire these new interns. Recent case study is relaince retail fured 42000 employees so now they will jave enough space for the interns at the government and taxpayer's money.

Opposition esp congress needs to offer solutions rather than only focusing on criticism. They have opportunity to build an alternative narrative. Congress manifesto was talk of elections and budget carried its imprint. Bip needs to go for a complete rejig. Else viksit Bharat , being crowed by corporates in unison , vl only b a slogan.
On unemployment niether BJP no congress can do much. It the era of jobless growth and it will be more do in future becsuse of AI and productibity improvement tools in use ie robot, computers and factory automation. We are in for driverless cars, and call centers being manned by computerised programs. But politicians sre good at giving slogans and false hopes.

Sometimes, I wonder, why do we need so much politics? All we need is fix, hypocrisies and inconsistencies of the past. Like following:-
a) encourage crop diversification, rationalize subsidies and have more market linkages in agriculture.
b) encourage more enterpreneurship, especially in manufacturing. In fact, SC/ST and OBC should be encouraged. There is already Stand Up India program to help SC/ST owned businesses.
c) Fo creamy layer exclusion. But for this unreserved castes, need to unite.
d) Build more cities. Encourage distribution of jobs across tier-2 cities, connected through highways and internet.
e) Decouple capitals and economic centres in each state.
That's all we need. Govt's and politicians, should not have too much power.
