Great video. This is one of the few videos that actually works with this radio with the Nav. I cannot even find a wiring diagram for this radio. My issues have been getting the right harness. Have you ran into any harness that allows the factory JBL system to have the fader control? Have your customers been ok with this? Also, for the backup camera, where in the front do you pick up the power for the new camera?

@@Qualitymobilevideo Nice, but will it work with at least two after market amplifiers? I have a 7700 Watt RMS system, 4 speakers, 2 subwoofers, if not what would I need to make it work, if possible? thanks!
Appreciate your video which highlights the dash and radio removal but you need to be more detailed in the radio head installation portion. Just showing someone connecting wire with nice soothing music playing in the background holds little value. Be specific with the camera shots of each wiring connection with specific description of what this connection actually is. Potential purchasers always have specific questions on steering wheel connections and rear view camera connections so specific detail in these areas would be great. Does Teyes provide all harnesses and wiring to connect to Toyota's or do you need to add other. If you wish to be specific a detailed install video of the Teyes CC3 unit in a 2018 Toyota Highlander would be great.
@@Qualitymobilevideo Ok thanks for the confirmation. I would guess the steering wheel control connection and the OEM back-up camera connection is not plug and play for many vehicles. I have a 2018 Toyota Highlander and hope I do not have to install the Teyes backup camera. Any thoughts?

For a 2012XLE with base radio - I've been able to get the Volume/ Channel Uo/ down to work on the steering, but the Voice Activation, Call Pickup/ Hang Up buttons are not working. There's no Canbus on the non-Nav unit so wondering if you know any solutions? Thank you!!
I'm installing the same unit in toyota 4runner with jbl.. do u happen to remember if you had to connect the blue amp wire from the back of the head unit? I have sound just not very good quality sound

Only issue I noticed is check engine light was on. Have you seen this issue ? I would sincerely appreciate your help
@@Qualitymobilevideo I wanted to get more details about what failed.. love to do this as my touch screen has failed and after trying to replace it with a new digitizer I have now lost the button functions on the side of the stock 7in head unit.
Update... I decided to call in today and... Lorenzo picked up the phone. His response to me was that we would lose the sound control. It can only be heard by the headphones. Not exactly what I was hoping for a response, but here it is.
Will this work for 2013 Sienna LE without the OEM touchscreen? I have the basic head unit that is control by the knobs and few buttons. My backup camera is the little screen on top of the dashboard. Be great to know before I proceed this step. With that said is it possible to move the backup camera to the touchscreen?
I just installed the Teyes CC3 on my 2011 Sienna LE, w/out the OEM nav/touch screen. You can connect the OEM backup camera (currently displayed on the tiny screen above the stereo) but the TEYES harness won't work for that. You would need to cut wires from both the connector on the back of the small screen and splice them with some of the wires on the Teyes harness. Here's a How-To - Vid for that: ruclips.net/video/rvhmPmFu7IE/видео.html . I just bought the Sony AHD backup camera from Teyes and it made it much easier, plus a much higher-res camera.
@@buckmclean8391 Hi! Unfortunately, I've been very disappointed with it. I installed it in my 2011 Toyota Sienna LE. It will not work with my steering wheel controls and I paid extra for the different harnesses they had available. I also bought the dashcam, but it only works sporadically. If I play spotify, it will randomly reboot. The built-in microphone for your phone is horrible too. Be aware that their tech support is in Russia and they only communicate through WhatsApp! On the Plus side, it's a very sleek piece of glass where my old radio used to be. And Google maps works most of the time. The backup camera looks great on it though, but the lines are not dynamic with the steering wheel.
I bought one but steering wheel controls didn't work. I think they sent me wrong wiring harness. I was able to connect only two connectors the other are big. the car connectors are small. i contacted them and they insist that they sent correct one. I know they have two types A&B . they sent me B.

I did upgrade the radio after downloading operating system upgrade from their website then I got glitch. my backup camera sometimes stop working. Teyes voice Total grabage. I think I should bought seicane radio which is similar and half price. Also, they are honest since they told me it will not work with your car. I saw video on RUclips for someone installed it on Toyota sienna and he was able to make steering wheel works.
This video is very misleading, I did the same install on exactly same jbl radio, the harness they provided don’t retain all the functionality of the vehicle. You lose the connectivity of the stock usb unless you buy another special adapter. You also lose the control of front and back since jbl amplifier only take front speaker input. And the canbus they provided is horrible, because your left speaker is going to be louder than your right when set to center. You also lose the oem dynamic parking line which the video didn’t mention.
I bought a android head unit and I will never do it again. It was really buggy and just stopped working after about 8 months. Huge waste of money and time.
Mind telling us the exact unit you purchased? There's many Android units in the market, especially from china like ie; alibaba, wish, & Amazon also just to name a few.
