I'm saving money to 'Spend The Day' in B & H. I need 2 lenses for my Nikon d5200. Zoom and wide. I'm heading to another protest regarding the murder of young Mike Brown with Rev. Sharpton and the National Action Network when they announce the protest details. Still learning my camera and it's functions. In July, I marched in Staten Island and captured photos of the Eric Garner murder. I captured about 800 photos that day. Prior to that, I took photos of Spike Lee's 25th anniversary of 'Do The Right Thing' in MY borough of BKLYN, NY. Too much fun! And the celebs were in the house also. Chappelle, Snipes, Badu, Yaasin Bey (Mos Def) and a host more. Next March or April, Branch Brook Park in Newark has Cherry Blossoms that are BEAUTIFUL!!! It's a lot of work! And my sister-in-law's sister's baby shower that I was commissioned for... I don't have a flash yet and the community center where it was held in Williamsburg Houses on Graham Ave WAS DARK!!! The person who opened the community center for us didn't know where the light switch was... And the event was SUPPOSED to begin at 5pm. There's a whole story attached but i'd rather NOT bore you. I'm actually working hard because I need to purchase a book titled "7 Days New York City in Black and White". I forgot the author's name (sarcasm) but I have it saved on my Amazon cart. Not gonna bore you more... (AND, do you know Dez Santana? We are friends on G+ also. I no longer utilize FB.) I pray that all is well and I'll catch you when you're winning Sony awards or The Lucie Award or The IPA 's. Peace and Blessings My Brother!
Sounds good Chuck but listen! I don't use anything but prime lenses but that's me! When I mess around with video however I'm looking at 18mm - 200mm its wide and it zooms a bit! There has to be an equal or close config for your Nikon? One lens instead of two is a possible lighter load and one less lens to worry about leaving behind. Again I shoot with prime lens for stills. Find myself shooting with a 50mm a lot more as of late. Dez Santana I would hate to say know and I do! It sounds crazy but after a while when I am around folks I can see them almost every weekend and have to remind myself constantly of their names. I guess the visual over takes the audible? Happy Safe Holidays and have fun! ;)
this is FANTASTIC.... LOVE the song, the kaleidoscope, the DIY apartment backdrop, silhouhettes, and intensified video snapshots of the whole band during the heavy reverb-filled rocket shot moments
Like the vid and the song, however I have to agree with other comments. From about 1:23 onwards the vocal is overwhelmed by the instruments till about 2:05. Same towards the end. The entire audio mix needs a bit of tweaking. Otherwise it's quite good! :)
Really? Well there is an effect on the singers vocal, but I hear it very clear as I view it right now. What are you listening to it on? I also heard it on my Samsong S4 with earbuds and it sounds great! And if by chance there is a way you are listening to it that we haven't formatted for just yet. a tad more clear with the earbuds but not quite there. could be my 66 year old hearing. hah. I love the music. dreamy
