are you sure Robert Baratheon ruled the kingdom wisely? When all he did was whoring and drinking. There was only 1 true king under whose reign westeros remained peaceful, Viserys I Targaryen was and will be the true king who tried his best to unite all 6 of the kingdoms with all his might.
He did not defeat any dragon, the dragons were killed years ago

The cinematography, story telling, characters, and the costume, castle and whole theme of the series is so good that it over shadows the nudity.
But not the same with House of the dragon.
That has some flaws like the depth of characters and story telling that's why that is not at the level of GoT
