I fit a 10ah battery with room to spare. You may be able to fit larger sizes if they have a thinner profile, but I recommend measuring it out and checking manufacturer specs prior to purchasing.
good video. fellow shearwater owner. just got my Lowrance elite fs and the active target. gonna be out a Sharon Harris / Jordan lake video fishing lol!! maybe ill see you out there one day! tight Lines.
@@OriginalTek I see you had the Scotty mount and that’s the one I’m using. Did you have any issues with the holes lining up on the Scotty mount to the Garman mount?
@@mesa620 I don't believe so. I switched over to the Railblaza fish finder mount r-lock r (rectangle) and there were zero issues with fitment. Just felt like the r-lock was a little more stable after adjustments.
Love the kayak btw, I got me a cheapo for now with a Garmin 8n it and I love it every time I get to go out. Lol my fishfinder costs more than the kayak is an echo map plus 43cv I got on a special sale really adds a lot more fun
Quality instructional video for the vibe tribe.
Cool! Im looking at the vibe shearwater, how do ya like it?
Been great for a couple of years! Only negative on my end is lack of dry or internal storage!
What size of battery would fit in that electrical storage box

I'll keep an eye out for ya! Also, if you haven't checked out Central Carolina Kayak Fishing, give a look! It's our local tourney trail
@@OriginalTek will do man
Did you just cram the transducer cable into the pod?
I coiled it and zip tied, then stuffed in the box. There is enough room for a 10ah lithium battery in there.
Great video. Literally putting the same 93SV in my raven 125. Was looking for a video to see if anyone used a spacer for the transducer.
Thanks! Good luck with it, though its a fairly straight forward install! Good vibes 🤙🏻

@@OriginalTek ok. Thanks.
What kind of battery are you using
I'm using an Amped outdoors 32aH battery. It is not LiFePo, but a 14.8v NMC battery. Fits in the front hatch with just a slight notching
Hope those transducers don't operate out of water I heard they'll burn
Only run it when I am on the water!
