I am a woman, I have never been a fan of Star Wars but even I HATE what Disney has done to it and think it is disgraceful. When even people who don't like Star Wars (yes I have seen the SW movies and I don't like them) hate what they have done and the fact that the gutted it and are parading it's corpse around like a puppet to spout propaganda with NO STORY to back it up. At 60 I was there at the beginning. Star Wars was made for me and my brothers. We had a hero to look up to in Luke. Those forst three movies were enjoyable and we have original VHS copies and then DVDs from new. I had a few of the figures, but I was not much for playing with, lets face it, Dolls. I liked model kits and built nearly all of the MPC kits released. So my fandom is legit as things go. Having it questioned never occurred to me. It seems silly that my appreciation of what Lucas did and my following of the movies and characters is personal. I have friends who also enjoy SW and we went to see the movies together. The prequels were seen in the theatre with those aforementioned friends as a way of bonding and sharing in on the fun. Seeing Vader as a young man was novel. His descent into the darkness was something we all wanted to see for ourselves. Yes, the magic was not as strong, but they were servicable enough. Then the sequel movie happened and we all saw that Rey was clearly a Mary Sue. She came by it all far too easy and we didnt care much for her "Journey". In point of fact, we all hoped for the continuing adventures of Luke, Han and Leiea. When that didnt happen we sort of checked out. Being background characters in their own movies struck us as a bit of a slap in the face. This "New" Star Wars was for a new generation it seemed. Our characters were quietly being pushed aside so new characters could take center stage. We saw this and accepted it. We had our movies and times. They were good memories and we were fine with it. But slapping the name Star Wars on everything as a way of making money is what is comes across as. To me and mine it all seems contrived and soulless. We are fans if you must call us that. We enjoy space opera and there are many other movies and creations we can enjoy that are Not Star Wars. And THIS video was the best you all have made in a while. I enjoy AZ and Gary's channels and watch often. But this particular video was on point. We are the rebellion.

Many didn't listen, and now we're here. I think this is a better example than you may have intended, since Taco Bell doesn't even sell any Mexican food... They've basically appropriated the names of Mexican and Tex-Mex food items, made them virtually 100% American (other than the use of tortillas...which isn't even a uniquely Mexican thing, and never has been), and then pretend to be something they aren't. Which is pretty much exactly what shows like _The Rings of Prime, The Wheel of Prime, ASS-Sokah,_ and _The AcoSHYTE_ have done... Appropriated some names and basic plot elements, changed them beyond all recognition, then screeched that everyone who hates the end result is an istaphobe.

I am a woman, I have never been a fan of Star Wars but even I HATE what Disney has done to it and think it is disgraceful. When even people who don't like Star Wars (yes I have seen the SW movies and I don't like them) hate what they have done and the fact that the gutted it and are parading it's corpse around like a puppet to spout propaganda with NO STORY to back it up.
There has always been propaganda inherent in movies/shows, but they used to have the good grace to craft a good movie/story and be slightly subtle in the way they fed you the propaganda. Not anymore !

I just retired and have been thinking about what I’ll do next. I started pursuing a lifelong long dream of doing standup. The open mics have been awesome! You guys make having a fan page look like a ton of fun, too. I have a modest pension, so monetization isn’t a must… I’m just looking to have fun and pursue some passions. There’s SO much GOOD material and BAD material these days… it feels like there’s endless fodder for videos. I spent my career locked in a building away from Internet (I taught GED’s and other classes in a CA max security prison). I wouldn’t pretend to know what it’s like to be released from prison… but I do feel quite free from my 8 hour a day sentence!

I watched it in real time yesterday, but I watched Az' rant again here because it was AWESOME!
At 60 I was there at the beginning. Star Wars was made for me and my brothers. We had a hero to look up to in Luke. Those forst three movies were enjoyable and we have original VHS copies and then DVDs from new. I had a few of the figures, but I was not much for playing with, lets face it, Dolls. I liked model kits and built nearly all of the MPC kits released. So my fandom is legit as things go. Having it questioned never occurred to me. It seems silly that my appreciation of what Lucas did and my following of the movies and characters is personal. I have friends who also enjoy SW and we went to see the movies together. The prequels were seen in the theatre with those aforementioned friends as a way of bonding and sharing in on the fun. Seeing Vader as a young man was novel. His descent into the darkness was something we all wanted to see for ourselves. Yes, the magic was not as strong, but they were servicable enough.
Then the sequel movie happened and we all saw that Rey was clearly a Mary Sue. She came by it all far too easy and we didnt care much for her "Journey". In point of fact, we all hoped for the continuing adventures of Luke, Han and Leiea. When that didnt happen we sort of checked out. Being background characters in their own movies struck us as a bit of a slap in the face. This "New" Star Wars was for a new generation it seemed. Our characters were quietly being pushed aside so new characters could take center stage. We saw this and accepted it. We had our movies and times. They were good memories and we were fine with it. But slapping the name Star Wars on everything as a way of making money is what is comes across as. To me and mine it all seems contrived and soulless.
We are fans if you must call us that. We enjoy space opera and there are many other movies and creations we can enjoy that are Not Star Wars.
And THIS video was the best you all have made in a while. I enjoy AZ and Gary's channels and watch often. But this particular video was on point.

The amount of lies they have to stack on top of each other to keep this farce going is astonishing. It still amazes me that not only did they fall for the delusion that they are true SW fans, as sold to them by Disney, but go on to gaslight and insult legacy fans who had been around long before these people got there as if they'd never been SW fans, while pretending this cascade of insults has not been going on for over ten years. I still remember catching wind of these insults directed toward legacy fans around that same time period. Yet these outlets, shills, stans, and even Disney continue to pretend otherwise.
I know legacy fans that tuned out during the middle of the second iteration of the Clone Wars animation(the shills don't know anything about the first which stuck to the EU lore and was better) because of the resurrection of Darth Maul. Some of them knew where things were going by then, along with this Asokha nonsense. The rest stuck it out for a bit and eventually moved on. I was gone by the end of The Force Awakens for my own reasons. Some legacy fans tried to warn the stalwarts and normies who were fans of Disney SW that this was going to end badly. Many didn't listen, and now we're here. At least the popcorn tastes good with the cope from these freaks who now realize that they have nothing and were never nothing after they've helped to destroy this beloved franchise for fan fiction thirst traps and identitarian degeneracy.
The more these woke queirdos attack normal fans, the smaller their audience and in turn profits get. Your job is to give the market what it wants, not force the market to buy what you’re selling. Have fun going broke
